Dinner is mse bean burgers as mum got them as a substitution and doesn't want them
Had a small misery episode on realising that if all goes well (ha!) with the build and life etc Mr PIP wants to retire in just under a decade. My very paltry income has been wiped out by ChatGPT et al, my chronic pain condition isn't going to get any better, and there is no property or big money I'm going to inherit, not that I want anyone to die, I've had quite enough of my fill thank you very much.
Just feels really sh*t to have to acknowledge that things are worse and are going to be worser and that my best outcome is to feel like a skank all my life.
My aunt is largely uncommunicative and barely taking on fluids. Mum is going to see her regularly so she's obviously really feeling it emotionally, and is knackered traipsing her arthritic back for hours.
My joints are sore and I'm very tired and stressed.
Here ends today's uplifting post courtesy of Pip.
Hope everyone's week is going acceptably2 -

It's ok not to be uplifting. This is your reality right now. Everything seems worse when you are in pain and tired and stressed. Sending a hug and sympathies xxIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Poor you. All sounds a bit much. I’m sending a potato shaped hug.And speaking of people dressed oddly I saw a whole bunch of grown men in knight and Robin Hood type get ups with inflatable swords having a rumpus on the edge of the forest where I was walking the dog. Couldn’t decide if it was a Monthy Python Appreciation Society or a stag night getting underway.Would have been more fun if they were fighting with potatoes though. Baked and filled with coleslaw preferably.2

That's sweet of you to ask @doingitanyway, thank you. I'm trying to buck my ideas up. I have showered and washed my hair, eaten some fruit, and put on nice perfume.
Tired with joints soreness but am going to go for a small walk. Mr PIP has just got back from having his root canal and that went well which is a relief, though they said he should get a cap on the tooth so that's another thing to save up for. Ah well, I'm sure we'll win the lottery soon.4 -
I think most of us have a wobble now and again. You've had a lot of bad news just lately which can't be helping with how you feel plus a chronic condition to contend with. Try to enjoy the little things every day and don't overthink the future, I know this is easier said than done.

Thanks @Sun_Addict. It does all feel like rather a lot recently! But I have a bottle of rosè chilling in the fridge, one more clue left to get on the crossword, and admittedly I'm on the sofa in my trackies but I smell gorgeous 🥂4

In addition to the aforementioned, have done a carpet walk and some spec work as well as the usuals.
Dinner is leftover pasta bake for me, soup for Mr PIP2 -
All you can do when a ton of crapola turns up in a short space of time is try your best not to overthink it (says one of the world's worst overthinkers) & enjoy the small positive things. Some of these will be very small, but it is important we look for them every day until things feel brighter.
