I am left wondering just whose water they did turn off.  Have you checked that your electric meter is actually YOUR electric meter as it would leave me with serious questions.  You should see the appropriate forums on here on the subject.

    Hee.🤭 I just couldn’t let that leopard go. 🐆
I would surmise it is a rather magnificent specimen. Are you going to put a picture in it? Might I suggest a screenshot from the new David Attenborough series? There is bound to be something suitably big-cattish in it. Or perhaps an elegant gazelle to be teased by that dangling paw? 🦌(Deer was the closest emoji I could find!)

Glad you are sleeping a bit better
If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

  • Excellent suggestions @Slowdown but I had rather thought to add it to the car boot pile to sell, although the price for a pitch has gone up yet again so we'll see

Annoying how much difference a cooked meal and decent sleep makes @doingitanyway

Not much news, life is mostly build admin, and trying to make any money through sales and surveys. Found a book yesterday that was accepted by WoB.

Today got some olio food bits.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend

On the plus side I’m assuming the frequent talk of build admin shenanigans means things are finally moving forward 🤞

  • Well as you asked @Sun_Addict, the broker is pressuring us to pay nearly 700 quid extra to make up the money for the cost of the warranty insurance difference based on the lender's valuer's assessment and pressuring us to pay the arranger's fee, but the valuer's assessment is based on the figure the valuer gave of gross external measurement which is more than would even have been legally permitted for planning permission and is coincidentally the figure they would have got if they'd put the numbers the wrong way round, but they're treating us like we're imbecile children for saying this isn't right because they want the arranger's fee but what they've arranged is a legal document that doesn't in any way reflect reality.

And the builder has again invoiced us early despite the payment stages being their contract they issued, and we don't have the money and we're having to borrow, and we're very stressed having to sort out the million other complex things to do with build, and I'm still really grieving for ex husband and not taking build people's sh*t well

Oh that all sounds dire 😞 Sorry this build is turning out to be so stressful for you thanks to the incompetence of others. Not what you need right now on top of everything else.
