Good luck @rachmac3. Warn your neighbour that with good snacks and cats I might be round 😁

Mr PIP got the peanut butter in that's super deluxe @badmemory, we thought these poncy North London mice would go for that and we wouldn't feel bad about disgracing mouse when we released it on Hampstead Heath and it compared its trap story with the other mice 😂 It seems mice hold no truck with organic produce!

I haven't trapped my freezer mouse either. I have an awful feeling it may have died - which is sort of sad but sort of good unless it starts to smell. I pulled the freezer out again and using a torch tried to see if there was any sign of it in the motor housing but all I could see was just a bit of chewed up insulation. I have a grocery delivery today with a fair bit of frozen stuff so I won't be able to pull it out easily for a while, so will leave the traps down just in case.

Do we need a separate mouse support thread?  :D
I'm not sure what I'm going to put in mine yet, I know he likes ryvita but I think he'll want something nicer than that to be tempted into the trap. Especially when he can have ryvita every day. He totally ignored popcorn, chocolate, and cereal when they were in the pantry so he seems to have quite bland tastes.

I once had a mouse that went into a trap for a bit of banana?  Another for a bit of an orange? and another that was very clever and avoided the trap completely but ate the chocolate it was baited with - that one was finally got by a bit of banana.  I think they have varied tastes :)

Well done on the skin care win - although if you really wont use it Vinted is worth a go, I sold a very nice bottle of something that was a free gift for £10 and was astounded as it was a free gift with  bottle of shampoo!
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

I’d second the Vinted, I’ve just bought some of my really expensive face cream off there still sealed, and I’ve bought the little sample bottles of it before to take on holiday.

    Thank you @I_Love_comps

Hoping for its peaceful passing @dreaming

I really resent laying on a bloody spread for them @rachmac3 @Watty1 😂

I'm hoping the skincare will be a nice treat I
wouldn't otherwise be able to afford Watty and @dawnybabes but good thinking that if I try one and it doesn't suit my preferences I can sell the other bits

No mouse update, tentatively hoping it's gone elsewhere but won't be surprised to find otherwise!

The walk was broken up with a beer at a posh pub @KajiKita so I'm not claiming elite walk athletic status yet but we had a nice time and that counts for a lot at the end of yet another tiring day!
Pest control on Monday then the following two fortnightly Mondays 😐
But the person coming round to look at the dripping (again) boiler is also Monday morning so it'll either be very productive or godawful. I think we can all probably guess which I'm veering towards 😂
