I love my shark. I did love my Dyson and when it broke a few years ago I replaced it with a new Dyson only to find out they’d changed something (EU rule) and it was no where near as good so ended up getting a cordless shark which is great.Sealed pot challenge 822

We're not quite up to that posh level yet @Sun_Addict but #lifegoals 🤣
Definitely recommend a Shark @KajiKita, so much lighter to move around, and that it doubles over for storage is fabulous. Mum has a corded one and the bit where the wire wraps round at the top can be flipped so you don't have to unwind it all before use. It's the little things!1 -

Mr PIP picked up some free Christmas wrapping paper from olio so that'll save us a few quid later in the year
Entered some competitions, today I'm mostly looking forward to winning some Molton Brown as I aspire to be as fancy as @Sun_Addict's dog
Lovely hour walk in the sun with Mr PIP, getting toothpaste in from Savers. Seemed rude to the sun to not to have beer while out too! With camra discount of course.
Dinner is leftover takeaway pizza with salad
Happy Sunday all 🍻

Today's build drama is apparently the house will not have functioning pipes as it's too low to effectively flow to the sewer. No-one has thought to mention this in half a decade. We can't make the house any higher as it needed to be dug lower to meet planning approval. I however am being zen as I'm the sort of person who does yoga now 😂
Dinner is supposed to be using up ys baby new potatoes but I am very much eyeing up buying a comforting pack of stuffed pasta and sauce. But in a zen way obvs2 -
Oh pip you couldn't make it up. I am so sorry. Does this mean the end of your dream?0

Who knows @Ladyholly, there might be an 'easy' fix like installing a pump, there might be another few years of people doing b*gger all to help, there might be having to submit a new plan for planning permission and waiting eons to be able to start again.
Hoping a costly and unsightly pump type solution will be found by the builder, but I'm past the point of caring now as it is now March and we needed building to start this month to not be in a sh*t position, and the pre build work (quote from last August: will take three weeks) isn't done and the logistics plan has only been submitted today- which we need to be approved by council before we can start to build and their time scale is 8 weeks to say yes or no, probably no, and they so far haven't been anywhere near by months and months in honouring their time scale in the years we've been begging them to do owt.
Whilst really saddening, it is weirdly relaxing knowing you're definitely having a much worse outcome whatever you do, it takes a lot of energy having hope for a better life and I didn't have much energy to spare in the first place.
Though it's very generous to describe a two bed in East London as my dream! 😂 It's just better than we can otherwise afford, but hey ho2 -
How frustrating for you are these constant setbacks to the build, it seems to be the slightest thing sets it back again. What a dire situation 😞I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
