An in-between phase

I unwrapped a parcel from my friend in Scotland who has sent me a ludicrously generous amount of vintage silver and costume jewellery so I am luxuriating in the loveliness of people and beautiful things.
Which is a nice way of saying I'm trying to muster the energy to clean the flat but haven't even got washed and dressed yet, though I am wearing a gorgeous silver and pink stone ring that goes very well with my onesie 😂

Enjoy your free coop chocolate coins. I very unhappily decided not to go & collect mine as it involves a 25 mile round trip. I could save the cost of petrol by going by bus & using my bus pass, but decided my time could be better spent. I've already made the trip earlier in the week to use my £2 off coupon. I want chocolate now!

Well the flat is clean, including a big scrub of all the inside windows, I am clean, essentials have been done and that is quite enough achieving for one day, especially a periody day.
Time for beer and crossword on the sofa then a use-it-up pickie tea with the last episode of Moonflower Murders on iplayer which we've very much enjoyed

@PennysIntoPounds  i have read your diary. I am sending you good vibes that you will have some good luck now and in the coming years. Also sorry for all the losses of your friends and your pets.
I do not like the dark evenings either , 4pm feels like 4am in morning,

I will carry on following your diary , and hopefully soon I will read about the build being able to take place.

There was a £6 mini tree in one of the supermarkets, would that do?

Thanks for the suggestion @WelshmansDaughter, but we're not near enough any proper supermarkets and don't do an online delivery.
It's fine, we have plenty of little decorations throughout the flat. Never going to get near achieving the seemingly impossible without sacrifices!
