Hello there, i would really appreciate help in my case with DCBL
Little background story - i had received fine for parking on parking spot for cars using motorcycle, since that time (2020) the motorcycle was sold and i have changed my address 3 times

Recently, few weeks ago i have received letter from DCBL demanding 120 pounds
I was shocked as i dont know how they got the details, theyve stated they used tracking to find me
Last week i have called them asking for the details not admitting that it was me , i had said that i have received such and such PCN and i do not recall situation like that, and i have said that i have changed address and this bike was sold long time ago, on what she reponded that it was my responsability to update V5C and demanded the payment otherwise its gonna go worse
I said that i need time to gather research what exactly happened and asked them to give me time until end of last week, i had not contacted them since but she said that they will wait only until that time. She had offered me the repayment plan of 30 pounds per month
Im not really sure what to do in that case and would really appreciate your help for next steps

So you now have four threads about these motorcycle parking events.

This is the easiest one to deal with.

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread
explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.

Is it safe to ignore them after i've made the contact? - this thread is not related to other PCNs

Did you read that post I pointed you towards?
There really is nothing more to say about a debt collector's letter.

Perhaps talk about other stuff on your other three threads - two of which you simply abandoned last year.

Yes i had just read that, and i should not call them, but now its after the fact - have i made the case worse? what could happen next?

I like the idea of ignoring it but where it is going to take me ? will it turn to CCJ ?
BTW. im happy to remove current thread and post in the other if that would be more welcome here, once again - yes i had abandoned it as had other stuff to worry at that time but now it bit me

But re this one, you WON'T be paying (and do stop contacting DCB) but where is this place?

Which parking firm? Blurry but it looks like S&K Car Park Management.  Which car park location?

£120 is lower than normal and it sounds like the PCN sum on the sign was only £50 - please can you get a photo of the sign?

While you are getting some photos ask the Store Managers to cancel it for you.  They often can for a retail site.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is from S&K parking in Westfield London, i might be there tomorrow ill try to do photo of a sign if that helps
I remember last year i had attempted to do what you've said, i went there and tried to talk to the parking guy to get some number to a manager or someone responsible from tickets but he couldn't provide me any contact and referred me to the links on the fine
I can try that again maybe other person would help me now but then, what are the chances that they can cancel 2 year old PCN

Yes please re the signs.  A close up or two.

For us to assist you, and for my evidence to the Government if they are under £80 PCN sum.
I really need some evidence from London!

is it 'Westfield London Car Park B' (multi storey) or what?  Can you link the place on Google Streetview for us to look?

Also get pics of the bay area you used and especially a view of a LACK OF SIGNS where you were.  That will assist your case.

Take a few and ask the Store Managers not the 'parking guy'.  Of course it can potentially be cancelled, you presumably saw all the late cancellations in the Successful Complaints About PPCs thread?  It's the first hyperlink in the NEWBIES thread.  Hundreds of examples.  Cancellations after 5 years, etc.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well to be honest, westfield is a massive shopping centre and they do have designated motorcycle bays on -1 floor but that time AFAIR i just went to grab something quickly from the shop and came back to see the fine and i have parked on normal car spot closest to the enterance,
Not sure if theres anyone like store manager as thats massive shopping centre, you mean specific store or someone in general that is responsible for "whole westfield" in thats the latter then i might not be able to get through to someone without knowing anyone or appointment, i presume people like that are not responsive for ad-hoc random customer queries

Also, there are barriers in the front so if you're with the car you have to wait until your reg plate is scanned and you got receipt produced, in case of motorcycles we just go around the fence, and i think the signs are there just by the enterance/barriers

    It's not a fine.

You won't be paying.  Please gather the signage evidence needed, if the signs with the PCN £ on them are still by S&K.

You can always email Westfield to ask if they'll cancel it but you still won't be paying this...!

Sounds like you need to read the NEWBIES thread?

    Thank you Coupon-Mad
I had went there today and there are no signs anywhere apart from one near ramp but it was impossible to take photo due to lighting and neon light on the side that made it even worse, i have found the T&C on the website
https://www.westfield.com/united-kingdom/london/westfield-london-car-park-terms-conditions-of-use#:~:text=a) You must drive carefully, fully within a parking space.

Also i have contacted westfield uising contact form hopefully they will get back to me,
Do you have any idea how i could ask them to cancel that, i mean what i could prop it on?
