DCBL MENTION THE SUPREME COURT ... Parking Eye v Beavis

What they fail to tell you is that case was all about a parking charge of £85 and the court ruled that £85 was acceptable as it included the cost of operating the scheme .... IE NOT such fake add-ons that DCBL add

All county court judges know about the Beavis case

As DCBL are trying to charge you £120, the Beavis case means nothing and is just a scare tactic

It's not void or invalid but it is extortionate.

Well well, so assume NCP were given the big boot
NCP normally use BWLegal, another money bagger

NAUGHTY NAUGHTY NCP  for not telling debt collectors DCBL

A court judge would rip DCBL apart with that letter.

Clearly, for those who wrongly paid, they are owed a refund with interest

Send that to DCBLegal and tell them to drop the case, delete your data and return the file to NCP because there is no Commercial justification or legitimate interest where the landowner doesn't support it.

DCB won't actually stop (yet) because their business model is a bulk litigation steamroller but send it anyway, and write robustly.

Could you pm me the contact details of that contact at Westfield please?

I want to contact them and encourage them to respond to the DLUHC's current Call for Evidence and give their view to the Government as a landowner, about aggressive debt recovery and how it detrimentally affects retail customers and the high street recovery.

Why are you contacting a debt collector? You may as well poke yourself in the arm with a sharp stick for all the good it will do.
  • I have contacted them as @Coupon-mad advised, how to proceed with them further as i am expecting that they're going to send loads of letters and try their scare tactics

Doing some searches on S&K Car Park Management (aka Secure Parking according to the IPC AOS list) has drawn a number of blanks. Their website link (via IPC) returns a 404 Error. However .....

...... looks like they could be part of the NCP Group, and maybe the term 'NCP' was used by Westfield as a generic one to cover S&K.  Needs some more digging with Westfield. Ask them if S&K were contracted to them via NCP.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
