DO NOT PAY. You won't incur charges by defending a claim and winning.
Do you recognise the location?
12 hrs is a very long time. Did you visit twice in 12 hours to drop someone off, or used it as a cut-through, twice in a day?
You did send the solicitors a robust response?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The thing I'm worried about is not winning.
I remember the location and I did park there for almost 12 hours to travel to london on train, from approx 11am to 11pm. It was a car park for the train station I believe. The thing I don't remember is paying, but I must have.
I haven't sent anything to the solicitors, how do I find them?0 -
a list of all payments made on the day and 2 days after.Show us that list.
Why would they show 2 days after?!
I guess no solicitor is involved if CEL sent the LBC. You don't need to worry about losing. There's no CCJ or any high costs risked.

Here's the list. Not sure why they showed 2 days after. My number plate is not on the list

That list looks bogus- for example:-
1) Vehicle NV***HC apparently bought their ticket at the same exact time, 12:05:00, on 3 consecutive days.4 -
Also GU***UA @10.42 on 22 and 232
-
Totally manufactured list. Why do none of the time stamps have the seconds noted? That list is not evidence of anything except that the PPC has the skill to create a "list" of anything it wants.
You should put them to strict proof that they didn't just conjure up the list using a spreadsheet or a word processor.2 -
Tell them that you have shared that piece of paper on MSE forum and the regular posters are shocked by apparent 'inconsistencies'.
It looks - allegedly - like an altered word document, seemingly conflating or overwriting 3 days' payments, that you are now going to show that purported list to:
- the landowner
- the machine manufacturer (Metric)
- your MP
- Trading Standards
- Action Fraud
- the BPA AOS manager
- the DVLA
- the DLUHC
Before you do, you are giving Scott Wilson, CEL's ex-Wonga employee barrister (whose first duty is to the Court) a chance to double check that this is their final answer and to put his name to that being a genuine unaltered list from 22nd and not what it looks like.
Scott Wilson has seven days to respond to authenticate it - or it's going to the above recipients and will be used to support a Counterclaim.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Apologies for the delayed response.
Wow, well spotted, on closer inspection the list does look fake or altered.
@Coupon-mad what's the best way to contact them at this point? As far as I can see the only way would be to submit a re-appeal or send them a letter in the post, but last time I did that they denied knowledge of receiving a letter. They haven't provided me with a phone number or email.
I arrived at 11:48 and left at 23:55 according to them, but I do believe that is correct as far as I remember.
