Managed to hoover most of the house until the battery ran out. Moved the sofa and found the back of the TV remote that had been missing. Prepped dinner and had a cuppa before walking just under 2 miles to meet Dad with Mum. I hadn't realised how bad her sight had got in one eye, she literally could see nothing. They then found she had an infection in her good eye so was unable to have her treatment and will have to be called back. She said her arm wasn't too bad which was just as well as A&E was heaving as they had several patients in from a bad RTC. Mum decided she would go home (she really isn't in a position to wait about due to her existing conditions) so if she is still in pain in the morning Dad will call her GP and get him to do a home visit. Rare I know but they will sometimes still do it for her.

Walked back via Mr T to pick up the one missing bit from the shopping list.

Dinner cooked, DD WULTD, I dried up and put away and washed kitchen floor. WM on with all the towels and teacloths that get slung in during the machine during the week.

Bed shortly!
