Thanks Natty x
I will do my best to join in properly this week (except for Wednesday).
Hope Monday brings sunshine for everyone xxx9 -
Thank you for the thread, Natty. It's going to be a busy week, but I should be able to do at least something every day. The more I have on, the more I tend to fit in for some reason. One must for tomorrow is laundry, as the weather is looking promising. Another is cleaning the car, because we're looking into changing it, so I needs to look better than it does at the moment. Got an appointment at the garage on Tuesday. Have a great week, everyone.

Morning!
Thanks Natty for the list and Valli for last weeks.
I am off again today so have a list to cover off once I am less hungover. Knowing I am not working today meant that I relaxed a little on the wine consumption with DH and our dinner last night so I'm currently decluttering the hangover.
Flying yesterday didn't go as planned as I sorted drawers in my office/craft room. Does anyone else have a collection of buttons, fastenings, zips, cords, ribbon, elastic etc they are likely to never use but have just in case
My list for today consists of
- Walk doogie
- Town for new phone cover
- Make appointment for eye test
- Enquire about medi-pedi appointments for DD!
- Make Hair appointment for Cut
- Make Hair appointment for Colour (My hairdresser no longer does it himself and my colourist now works from home so 2 appts)
- Completion of R40 for interest on PPI claim (no idea which sections to complete)
- Complete form to try and track down Forte pension
- Flying from the list
- Pop over to see how Mum & Dad are
- Collect shelving unit that I just managed to secure from Argos that has been OOS for weeks
- Make room (and possibly paint utility room wall) for said shelf unit
- Shuffle money from bank accounts to cover additional spends
Not much then so food next, shower and crack on, and the sun is currently shining
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!6 -
Morning all, thanks for the thread.
Sun isnt exactly shining here, but it's bright and not raining so thats good. 30 minutes pilates done, breakfast and ready for a full day at the paid stuff next.
Hope Monday is kind to you all xx7 -
Morning, thanks for the thread.
Hope your hangover clears quickly Kaz, and yes, not just buttons but lots of stuff in this house kept just in case. I'm gradually trying to get rid of it.
Just having first cuppa. Will see what flying I can do before DGD2 wakes up.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning all xx
Thank you for the thread.
I'm up, made my bed, and I'm savouring my first brew.
I'm meeting L for coffee at the posh farm shop cafe at 10. The other priority today is to buy pack up lunch stuff for the rest of the week.
Have a good day

Morning all. Sunny at first here, but it's clouded over a bit now. I am shooing the grey clouds away, not knowingly towards any Flyfriend who's already had their fill of rain this month.
So far today I have
- showered, dressed and eaten breakfast
- loaded the DW and S&S'd the kitchen
- had The Conversation with DH about sorting his clothes and decluttering those that don't fit or are falling to bits (including his things in my wardrobe which he has not worn in the past 4 years). He agreed. He then "sorted" the three drawers of his bedside cabinet and threw out several empty boxes and a few pieces of paper - but no clothingHe has now gone out to lunch with his wargaming friends.
- done and hung out WMx5, some of which is already almost dry
- cleared toys and games from the two large drawers in DH's wardrobe, put some out for the CS, and carried the rest upstairs. I will ask DS1+2 and DD what they want done with the zoo animals (vintage but not antique) which were theirs, and give one Scrabble set (how did we ever get 3?) to my goddaughter and her sister. The rest I shall probably keep in the space in my wardrobe which is currently occupied by DH's clothes.
- cleared my desk
- dusted and hoovered the study bedroom
- cleaned the bathroom as per the list (but my PC is set up to defrag automatically)
- hoovered up odd crumbs and bits of fluff from Rosie in the kitchen and LR before the thingummy ran out of charge
That'll do for today. I shall have an early lunch and then take myself off to the gym.
Catch up later xxx8 -
Fed the birds and put out the recycling.
Showered, hair washed and got dressed then drove to meet L at the posh farm shop café as arranged. Deliberately didn't eat breakfast so I could have a sort of brunch there instead. Hot chocolate and a vegetarian breakfast wrap- cor it was good.
On my way home I called at PO and paid my rent plus withdrew cash to put in GF's birthday card -she'll be 30 on Saturday.
Got changed and spent the afternoon reading a pile of magazines- now all in the recycling box.
Then I put on my braves again and went to Mr Al for a week's shopping. Only my second venture into Mr Al's but I got a trolley, went up and down every aisle, and found everything on my list, plus a few extras. That's now all put away.
And relax

Thank you for the thread again. I will try to do more than last week, which shouldn’t technically be difficult.
Towels were set swishing before I went to work, and seem to have dried outside as DH has folded them up and put upstairs. Busy work, the backlog grows, but hey ho, I’m doing my best. Feeling guilty that tomorrow is my day off, but I have a hair cut booked in the morning, and that’s not up for cancelling.
DH has pulled up the kitchen floor (this is intentional, not just him throwing a tantrum🤣)and the dw is now out of bounds. Tomorrow the gas is turned off, so the hob goes too. Saves cleaning it when the kitchen comes around on the list 😉.
Off out this evening for a friend’s birthday. I still have the annoying cold, so I have offered to drive.Kaz, my spare room / craft room / DD’s overspill room is full with boxes of very useful bits. Ribbons, elastic, tape, zips, buttons….the list is endless. Because I have boxed them up nicely, I kid myself that they are not junk, but things that I will use. One day.7
