Did most of the stuff on my list gym swim, sort out/put away toiletries bag from the weekend, double-check the week's calendar to make sure I know what is going on, pick more beans, start to give my study its summer clean and organise before term starts, check to-do list, cull some emails
Started to put CPD stuff on log, yawn.
Set up cc payment for next week.
Filed a load of stuff.
New mattress arrived, old one taken away.
Text at 8.45am from R's daughter to say his op had been cancelled for the 5th time. Another this evening to say they have promised to do it at 8am.........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.6 -
Evening all.
Today I admit to not having cleaned the kitchen fully - just S&S'd it - but I have managed to
- make several long overdue phonecalls
- send 2 birthday cards and write a letter to enclose in one of them
- book lunch on Friday at a GC with my Greek friend
- look up the route to where we're meeting our friends tomorrow
- make space on the study shelves for the board games
- find takers for the farm animals (DS2) and ocarinas (DD)
- exchange daft messages about bagpipes with DS1+2
- order a birthday present and secondary school calculator for DGD2
- avert a migraine by sleeping for an hour after lunch
- empty DH's underbed drawers into the wardrobe drawers which I had emptied of toys and games yesterday
- helped DH to declutter 2 black bags full of old clothing and stowed away neatly all that he is keeping (still far more than is necessary, but it all fits in so that's OK)
- do WMx1
- declutter a large broken plastic crate
- empty all the bins around the house (it's dustcart day tomorrow)
- take Rosie for a 40-minute walk in the covert
- cook 2 meals
- take Rosie out for a second time after our evening meal, when I went to pick blackberries. She decided to hold a sit-down strike and wouldn't come with me down the lane. Instead she stayed sitting in the long grass at the top of the lane and just waited until I had filled my bowl, then she came back to the house with me and walked in as if nothing unusual had happened!!!

Morning all. Rosie made me laugh Iona. A friend used to have a dog that just waited for her to finish her walk when he'd had enough.
Paid stuff today but between shifts I will walk Poppet and crack on with more tidying in the garden.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Hi all
A good day, feeling quite cheery. Washing out in the sunshine first thing, another load in. Cycled in to the paid stuff, hubby put spuds in the slow cooker to have with chilli for tea. Living room and DS loo hoovered and swished. House looks reasonably presentable.
Feet up and telly on, DH is not home yet. I am making a big effort to get to bed in good time and it really makes a difference.7 -
No flying after all. DD and DGD2 visited between shifts so we walked Poppet and played in the garden. Not sure I will achieve much tomorrow either.Spend less now, work less later.6

Sorry I’m new to Flylady , what happens on a Friday? At the beginning of the thread it talks about every day but not Friday or the weekend.
My Husband is retiring and I want to show him the fly lady thread and split the tasks up, wish me luck, I will need it 🤣😂7 -

Hello and welcome!
Fridays list will be added to the first post this evening.. Weekend we do nothing unless we choose to.. the whole point is that we get the household chores done mon-fri so we can relax and do fun things and spend time with the fam on the weekends.. Or we play catch up.. or do the bigger jobs we need partners or more time to complete.
