Making a profit out of my PCN?

I sent the letter Royal Mail Signed For. Their tracking showed it never got delivered. Meanwhile, I get another notice from the parking firm. So I claimed compensation from Royal Mail, who duly sent me £52.25.
I then re-sent my appeal (saying I wanted it back dated). Again, by Signed For. And again, it didn't get delivered. So I got another £52.25...
I'm now going to send in a third attempt. If that disappears too, then even if my appeal doesn't work, I might be quids in!

PPCs seem averse to accepting 'Signed For' mail. This might add weight to the theory?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Big mistake in sending it signed for, as per Umkomaas above.what do you mean by a "BPA" member there are quite a few of them and all need dealing with slightly differently. The British Parking Association limited is nothing more than a private members trade association, and as they say on their websiteWe are a membership association and not a regulatory body. This means that whilst we will address any concerns raised about our members’ working practices, we do not have the resource to deal with complaints about individual enforcement notices.
Sending by signed for is a waste of time and money.Odds on your "appeal" will get turned down anyway - on top of that you have nothing to appeal against , you have not been fined, you have not had a judgement against you, just some un regulated company who make up their own rules to suit themselves alleging that you owe them money for breaking some made up rules
At the moment you are under no obligation to attempt to name the driver at the time the vehicle was parked , and nor should you
Name of parking company?
Reason why your vehicle received a parking charge notice?
Whos car park was this ( ie name of supermarket)
Type of car park- if not given above, residential ( your space ) hospital, retail park, stand alone, railway, pub, shop? etc
Location of car park?

@waveyjane, just read the Newbies/FAQ thread for details of how to make your Plan B appeal. As it's CP Plus, just use their online portal to find their email address and email this as a pdf attachment:This is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will be given. Please do NOT try the usual Group Nexus Trick of asking for driver details in order to get around the fact your NTK does not comply with POFA. As there is no keeper liability then liability cannot flow from the driver to the keeper and thus is an automatic win at POPLA. Therefore, please cancel the notice or issue a POPLA code at which point you will auto withdraw.
If you insist on using Registered mail, as you've found out, all it really gives you is proof of non-delivery. You should use the free "certificate of posting" from any post office... as advised in the Newbies/FAQ thread.

Also BTW there's no mention of "certificate of posting" in the newbies thread.1
