Shampoo - the marvellous Faith in Nature.
Nail Varnish - Suncoat (it's water-based and very gentle)
Cleanser - I'm an Eve Lom fan, but I got a duff batch from Ebay (I think it had gone off because it crystallised after a month) so I switched to Liz Earle and I've been delighted with it.
Moisturiser: Dermalogica Tinted
Foundation: A Mineral Powder from My Beautiful Earth that I bought off Ebay. They sent me some samples and I've been using it for over a year. Lovely. It's the real deal in terms of mineral make-up and far purer than top-range minerals like Jane Iredale. And hand-made by a British small family firm too - so that's a bonus.
Blusher: Chantecaille or Mac See Thru Cheek Colour
Eyeshadow: Chantecaille and Jane Iredale.
Eyeliner: Smashbox gel palette in a range of colours
Mascara: Blinc
Lip Plumper-upper: Eve Lom Kiss Mix
Lipstick: Beauty without Cruelty
Good thread. Loved reading it and will investigate some new ideas.0 -

Eye Liner - Lancome, & Rubie & Millie pencils. Have some really ancient block eyeliner which is brilliant for that 50's look. Never see block eyeliner anymore.
I use block eyeliner (solid eyeliner) - with a very fine brush it's the only way to get a really subtle look. There are loads about, and loads of the new cream/gel ones too. I use laura mercier block eyeliner, but I've loads of different makes from ebay before now. Block mascara too, if you look!
Foundation: Mac or laura mercier
Mascara - i use sheisido mascara base, then any old cheapy on special over it - amazing!
Clarins - instant skin smoother - it's incredible, completely hides pores and fine lines (use under foundation).
Blush - paula dorf or bobbi brown
lips - sheisdo, or the new bobbie brown tinted lip balms which are FAB0 -

I do this with my No7 Instant Radiance concealer - DEFINATELY makes a difference, and with a dusting of loose powder on top makes a good base for applying eyeshadow/eyeliner etcDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

Totally agree - only thing I would add to this is getting the right powder too - assuming you wear powder that isNo one wants to look like they've just chucked a bag of flour on their face!
On the subject of outstanding makeup, I bought a couple of Collection 2000 khol eyeliners the other day, and have been very impressed :TDFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0 -

c2000 has improved a LOT IMHO. The only thing I would say about C2000 makeup is dont like the foundation, and the nailpolish is good for up to date colours but not for ease of removal!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I use a sally hansen no chip topcoat over mine. Remember to paint along and under the tips of the nails! Not too bad for chipping - couple of days maybe befpre it needs taking off, but i am yet to find any NP which lasts as long as it says it does.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
