SarahSaver,
You mentioned some L'oreal foundations. What do you think of True Match? I really loved it and it is affordable. What do you think?
I had little luck finding a good mascara, so thanks to everyone contributing their experiences. I gather that Double Wear is worth a try?0 -
i really love Rimmell Maxx Lash mascara0

hi h007
I meant True Match super-blendable. I found it ok for my skin. I got the apricot shade but this really depends on your own preference.0 -
If i go to a counter in boots or similar can i ask them to try a foundation and eye make up on me? are you underpresure to buy?
Also what counter is best?I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something0 -
I was in Gatwick last week and the YSL lady was doing makeovers, she did me with that new YSL foundation with the brush, and it is amazing!! I am converted from estee lauder, it makes your skin glow!!! and she showed me that (am I the only one who didn't know this?) if you put touche eclat on the upper lids as well as below the eyes, it just lights up your eye area - amazing - try it - I honestly could not believe it, I look so much brighter and healthier with the TE all the way around my eyes - above, below, sides.... it is the best make up tip I have ever had!!!!!!0

i have always found Estee Lauder very helpful with makeovers, but check out my previous post for my latest make up tip that has transformed my morning make up routine!!0 -
True match liquid foundation go for it very similar to clinique IMHO, but the mineral one feels too claggy.
Mascara? Max factor - masterpiece, nice and clump free. i think I said before as long as you spend a bit on mascara and foundation the rest is not so important, and colours for lips and eyes tend to be a bit seasonal anyway.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Just had my Estee Lauder Double Wear Light consultation and its absolutely brill! I have a few days of my colour to try and see how I get on using it at home but it feels nice on and covers really well.0
