I'm still confused. I thought it was *ME* who was correcting you about 22-8=14? lol!2 -
Just had even further communications from Fountain Park. This was in response to my thanks to them. I’ll give you both so you can see the context in its fullest:
my thanks:
“ Ah this is excellent news thank you for this. My confidence has indeed been restored as long as UKPC do actually stick to this agreement.I really do think they were being a tad unfair, and pushing on a non issue in the first place. I was in utter disbelief over this. However, it has shown me how petty such companies can be, so has given me the insight to be extra vigilant in my approach to parking in public facilities and err on the side of caution when comparing my judgement on a situation against the potential opposite of such establishments.Thank you so much for your help with this matter, it is greatly appreciated.”Fountain Park follow up reply:
” Thank you for your feedback. We have asked that when UKPC are on site, that they exercise reasonable judgement so that issues like this do not arise again.Kind regards,Fountain Park centre management ”
Whether or not UKPC listen to this or not; that remains to be seen. That request clearly flies in the face of their whole business model.2 -
Confirmed result on www.paycharge.co.uk. "The parking charge has been cancelled. There is no outstanding balance."
Very pleased indeed!3 -
Lovely! Did you also post on the main successful complaints thread, so people will see it for years?
This thread will slip away in a day...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Last post on this thread for me. Final confirmation from UKPC in written format, I received a letter from them confirming that on this occasion <UKPC were in the wrong, and we sincerely apologise for any stress caused by us with this matter towards you, and as a result we have decided that> the charge has been cancelled.
Numpties.
Good day to you all, and a big thank you to all who gave me advice and offered me support throughout this whole ordeal.2
