The absence of 'latest posts' is one
For now, I would suggest bookmarking this page:cymruchris said:To get 'new posts' from across the forum, you have to hit 'latest threads' then change the filter from 'recently created' to 'recently commented'.

I've got to meet a client at 10am (luckily one located in an office at the end of the road I live on), so I'll get dressed, go to the meeting and have a play at some point this afternoon.💙💛 💔0 -

You have retained the numbered boxes for individual threads so not sure why you haven't for the latest threads section. Thanks
Don't know if you've noticed. If you click the arrow at the end, it will open up a box where you can navigate to any page you want -
But I also don't get those back and forward arrows.
I like to start at page 30 of the new threads, and work backwards, as otherwise you read posts on p1, go to p2, and all the p1 posts are now moved to p2 (when the forum is busy).
Can we have a "previous page" button too please.

I would put everything to the right on the top line. Would also remove the thumbs up as to me it's just unneeded clutter.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill2 -
Mainly positive opinions despite old age and a deep aversion to change.
But it would be most helpful if the oval (NEW) blobby on threads also changed colour, contrast, or something when it becomes (n NEW) for a previously visited thread - to make it stand out.
I visit MS Forums daily, just a quick browse for threads I'm interested in normally. If the (NEW)/(x NEW) blobs were the first item on the line and maintained vertical alignment fine, they'd be easy to spot, but as things are the eyes have to dart left and right searching for them when scanning down the threads list. It's slower, more mentally taxing and gives low confidence that you didn't miss the one you're particularly interested in^^.
Congrats: At least the page isn't wall-to-wall white like many “modernised” minimal-clutter page designs. Those are as relaxing as driving down a winding country road in a blizzard white-out!
(^^ Yeah, I know, Bookmarks and Follow and stuff, but I'm talking flying visit near-zero-scrolling-and-clicking.)
