The whole things obviously been designed by a right hander.
It's difficult for a left hander to use the quick links, which aren't that quick when you have to scroll down the whole list of boards to find the forum and then go back again to the full list of boards to find the other forum you want.
Bookmarked links and threads are a complete waste of space, as bookmarks was previously. I didn't even know I had threads, none of which were instigated in this decade, and have no interest in going back to stuff that got accidently bookmarked in the old style just because I'm left handed. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1 -

Hello,
It's been a few days since we rolled out the Forum's new look, and we've had a LOT of feedback from you. The team have gone through it (and are continuing to do so), and I’ll address some of the most prominent points and recurring themes. There's a lot to cover, so a heads up that this is a lengthy post
Have a good weekend !🍷

The text line lengths on a laptop are way too long to read and the sentance then becomes excessively large making comprehension difficult. It needs to be half the current length. As per research "As result, users faced with overly long lines of text are more likely to avoid reading the text."The time it takes to scroll through because of the size of the screen is also a put off.You can't scan a board because of all the clutter. If the badges which are seldom used to judge a posters competance must be visible anywhere can they not be under the name on a post rather than on a list.Just too much unnecessary information for each post. That also makes it difficult to read.In some aspects the site where it has used the previous text editing bar and such is superior to most I've seen and it's welcome you have kept that.On a less important note but none the less agrivating, why is the laughing emoji still coming out as disappointed

oldagetraveller1 said:This is the screen of a 17" laptop. What an absolute waste of screen space.Somewhere back in the thread it was stated that it automatically adjusts for desktops and mobile devices. It most certainly hasn't adjusted in this example. When on these forums, press Ctrl + 0 to reset the zoom to the default of 100%.I'd recommend removing the menu bar at the very top of your screen (where it says File, Edit, etc) by right clicking it and unticking Meuu Bar. It doesn't look as though you make full use of the bookmarks toolbar either, (underneath the left and right arrows next to your address bar, where it says Getting Started) by right clicking the bookmark toolbar, clicking on Bookmark Toolbar and click on Never Show.0

I didn't understand why some were saying the text was too big, as any smaller for me I would feel like Mr Magoo
But now totally understand if seeing the top one.Note: Edge vs Chrome makes no difference to me.

The wasted space can be worked around using filters in an adblock browser extension (like uBlock Origin).Jenni x1

@MSE_James, can you please unsquash the font and spacing? I've been on this Forum for 16 years, and have experienced all of the many changes that have been made to the Forum since then, but the latest font adjustment is just too difficult, even when zooming in on browser the lines are squashed together, the spacing was much better before this "tweak" today.

ForumUser7 said:@MSE_Laura_F Has the view count option for threads been removed in this update please? I can’t seem to see it anymore. If it could be added back, it would be great as it is a nice to know metric. Thank youBob2

I think the 'nn comments' field and 'n NEW' field would be better the other way round.
