I just topped up my Amazon account with £1, hope that qualifies (no reason why not).

Has anyone received the £125 yet?
It's a pity the app doesn't tell you how many qualifying purchases you've made. My Halifax reward (spend £500 on debit card) tells me how far along I am so I know if spent enough.
Easy enough to count them in your account transactions
Whilst I agree that it is easy to count them up in the transaction feed, I am not confident that TSB will count them the same as me.

For example, in July I made three purchases towards the end of the month that are showing in the app as 1 August, even though that was not the date of the transaction.

Do those three count towards August (cleared date) or towards my July usage.

Including those three, I hit 24 DC transactions in July so, if they did not count towards the transactional month data, I still qualified with 21 hence no clarification yet.

It's the date shown on your statement that counts, not the date of purchase. Your 3 purchases will therefore count for August.

For the Spend and Save cashback its in the T&Cs

2.3 We’ll count payments based on the date the money is taken from your account. This is usually within 5 working days from the day you make the debit card transaction, but sometimes can be longer. You can tell when money is taken from your account by looking at your transactions online or on your statement.

Any way of knowing that a switch is in progress? My fiancée got a text a few days ago from TSB to say her switch was underway, and then a letter from her losing provider (Nationwide) today.

I've received nothing from TSB or my losing provider (Santander); we both submitted switch requests to complete on 30 August at the same time a few weeks ago.

TSB post letters to your online account too which are quicker than the post if that helps

Many thanks! I can see now there's a letter dated 22nd August to say they've confirmed it all with Santander, so looking good.
  • Anybody had a payment yet?  What’s TSB usually like for payments?

No. Based on recent previous offers the payment will come a few days before the deadline in their T&Cs, everyone eligible will get it at the same time.

For the £125 payment, I believe that I have met all of the conditions. I used the debit card to buy a coffee on 30/08 but the transaction was pending for a while in my app and now shows as 04/09. I hope I still qualify 🤞

Its not when you use it but when it's credited, so if you needed that transaction to be before 01/09 it won't count.

I opened the TSB account on the day of my last post on this thread, and now have an open Spend and Save account but it doesn't appear that they have attempted to switch or communicate with HSBC (current provider) in any way. When I switched to HSBC earlier this year it was all automatically done and I didn't have to fill out any extra forms than the ones during the process of opening the account, I've had four letters from TSB about this new account (one to notify it was being opened, one regarding my online banking login, one with my new card and one with my new pin) but nothing about the switch over.

Bit annoyed because I presume this means I've lost out on the offer and the TCB £20 reward too. I can't seem to contact TSB about this via live chat on their app as it says this is 'currently limited to a small number of customers' or words to that effect.
