And by doing it at 2pm-4pm they're all in the office/at the end of a phone to resolve any issues that might crop up rather than it being off all night and then some more through the day while they fix whatever might have gone wrong? I don't think MSE is a 24/7 operation like the big name companies.
Not sure why they didn't lock the announcement, if they had no intentions to reply to questions or concerns.
Seems pretty pointless to have this thread if the only ones commenting on it are totally clueless about the changes.

They probably don't want to get involved in discussion about what it has or hasn't got, how it might or might not look, or whether it has or hasn't got certain features until it's landed on our plate - hopefully at that point once we've got it, there'll be a bit of healthy discussion (and maybe even a little positive feedback!) It's nearly time - so let's wait and see. No point complaining now
