35 minutes of Pilates, backbend and 30 bicep curls. My small article will be published in an industry journal, either tomorrow or Friday.

Can't wait for my next surgery. I hope so much that it's successful.

Yesterday I did Pilates and another friend came out for coffee.

Today I'm learning the new weight routine for the weight class I teach. Feeling pretty strong.

Full weights session and backbends.

Mortgage at £67,484. No overpayment this month's because I had to pay for cats boarding plus prescriptions etc. Also lost income from gym. But just happy to be covering bills.

Another unsuccessful surgery today, despite surgeon's best efforts. More invasive surgery to be scheduled.

Everybody wants to know what I would do if the third surgery was unsuccessful. 

I guess we'll never know.

I was discharged a week ago and feeling amazing. I'm off work but taking long walks every day and doing a bit of Pilates.

£250 overpayment into the mortgage. Mortgage now at £66879.

The article I wrote last month was published in a professional journal, which was a nice surprise.

Goals for next month:
1. Literally just keep recovering from surgery and build strength.
2. Apply for a very long-shot job. I honestly don't believe I'll get it, and it's no big shakes because I love my current job, but I think applying will be a good experience. 
3. Have a think about how to change my life. I'm 55 next month and I just want a change. I want more free time, I want less stress and angst. I love my job but want to do it 4 days week or something. I don't know. The past couple of months have shown me that life is short.
