I cleared the draining board while the kettle was boiling. So I have room to work.
I've eaten breakfast and supped two brews. And completed my morning meditation.

Set WM swishing
Fill bowl of pots with hot water to soak
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the recycling
WUDUPA one bowl of pots
Clear the airer & put away
Peg out washing (check forecast first)

Morning all, and Happy Birthday to dancemum xx
Loving the hats and the big smiles, pigpenx
Well done, round - keep on eating that elephant! x
So far today I have
- showered and dressed
- S&S'd the kitchen and bathroom
- cleaned the mirror in the LR
- asked DH for his dirty washing
- cleared some more of the outstanding admin and tidied my desk.
I still need to
- hoover through upstairs again (DH is doing downstairs as I type) because Rosie is in full moult and so is the ash tree
- start DH's washing if he hasn't already done so
- mop the kitchen floor
- drink coffee
- make a phonecall or two
- eat lunch
- call at the hairdresser's to make an appointment, and at the new vet's to sign Rosie up with their health plan and book her vaccination appointment
- go to Action Heart
- buy dog food
- tidy up the front garden and cut back the plants that have flopped across the path and keep getting trodden on.
Best carry on then... xxx7 -
Glad tidings of great joy.
Last night DS proposed to GF in front of the castle in Disney's Magic Kingdom, Florida. And she said Yes.
If you want to see a photo of the magic moment it's on my FB.
I'm going to be a mother-in-law 🤣

Congratulations to the happy couple xx and to you, round x
Half my list is done - DH had started the WM but forgot to (a) put in the stain remover for a tomato-sauce-encrusted shirt and (b) empty all his pockets of tissues and receipts. I have hung his washing out.
Off to do the other half now.7 -
Thank you iona xx
My head is now a shed. I feel quite passy outy which is most unusual for me. Must be the excitement.
Anyhoo I've gathered together a pile of the books for cs and filled a small box ready to pass on to L tomorrow- for L's sister's church's thrift shop in the city.
Round 2

That's everything WUDUPA 🙂
And I brought in the dry washing and folded it. Weatherman says 0% chance of rain but not sure if the sky knows that! Although now I've brought it in the sun is shining. Law of Sod. Never mind...it's all dry so nothing lost.
Coffee anyone?

Evening!
Dance mum's birthday ? didnt see that one, so Big happy birthdays to you.
Pigpen, you and your mum look like you had a right good time.
Congratulations to the family roundtuit, its a lovely time but thankfully the organising and expense of it is done in our house for a while, cant see DD going down that route unless she's bought one from Grooms-are-us!
DD cooked dinner tonight so I have washed up and waiting to see if DH will get off his but/screens etc and dry up if not I will condescend and do later.
I pretty much did the living rooms yesterday as much as they needed so not doing more as tonight's mission is
WHERE'S WOODY!
When I was over DS's at the weekend DGS was playing with his new Buzz Lightyear and so I said I think we still have Woody at home (I'm pretty sure it was one thing we kept, and I vaguely recall DD and I maybe saw it a while back) so where is it. I have looked in the cupboards in the spare room (well the ones that I can open), the cupboards in the other spare room where a lot of DS old stuff is, and I have been into the attic (but that is jammed pack full of carp and has been for years). So when did DD and I see it, or did I dream it, or did I sell it at a car boot sale may 10-15 years ago (vague recollection). I have 13 days to see if it is at home because if it is I will re-gift it to him for his birthday.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!6 -
Morning all xx
Confused/very.com this morning. Woken up by the dustbin lorry outside and could not work out why they were here on a Wednesday morning 🙄 🤦♀️ That would be because it's Thursday!!! D'oh.
Meeting L at 10 at the posh farm shop cafe. I have the box of books plus a bag of stuff to take for L's sister's church's thrift shop. And a book to return to L and a velvet ribbon too ( L sews etc) Fer-ling 🙂
Every little helps
Have a good day
