feeling a bit better, it’s side effects i think. My stomach is gurgling away now,.
I’ve had a wakeful night, mainly, i think, due to the clutter at the aged ps, now i’ve been in the bedrooms there. they sleep separately usually, mum is a restless sleeper (i sleepwalk on occasion) and there is stuff stacked on the floor in the room she uses. This needs to be cleared before we get a cleaner in so i’m going to insist. Plus i feel i’m being more supportive if i’m actually doing something.
Their stuff is ironed. i have washing out here,

Most Tuesdailies done except dog walk, putting recycling out and hoovering and mopping floors. I'll get all that out of the way then look at today's list.Spend less now, work less later.8

Was quite productive again today, go me! Ironed two-thirds of Mount Ironmore and folded about twenty bathsheets. Am I the only household where towels are used once to dry a clean body, they are then immediately discarded into the washing?
Ordered and collected 50kgs of frozen raw dog food and transferred it to the freezer in the garage. Fed the feral kittens who lost their mum on the road two days ago, but only saw two of them. Why do cats go out on the road when there's about 100 acres of fields and woodland behind us?
Lunchtime shift done in the Vintage Tea room and finished in time to collect Tiny from school rather than Maggie, who normally collects him on a Tuesday. Stood and had a natter with her while Tiny and Tom enjoyed the two cans of Prime Energy drink I picked up at the petrol station when getting diesel for the van. Disgustingly sweet sugar juice IMO but kids love it.
More ironing done, bed stripped but as yet unmade and a bag of pants and socks to sort now on my evening to-do list.
Tiny just back from cricket club so cooking him a late dinner then I'll try to clean and stain block a wall ready for painting.

Hope you're feeling better Valli.
Full day at the paid stuff and walked each way so exercise done. Dinner cooked and cleared away, both living rooms tidies and all bits put away but looks ok so didn't bother with a hoover or dust today. Have for the last hour or more been trying to get the printer to work so I can print a bank statement to cross check against spreadsheet. Every other time I try to print it won't connect and drives me nuts. Even the HP print doctor is freezing tonight but hopefully sorted now that DH has reset the router.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!8 -
i am, thanks.
Cleaned the dining room today, took the aged p’s ironing back, though i suspect some items will never be worn again. I might have just shown them the iron…holiday clothes. i also persuaded mum to let me do a tiny bit of decluttering but stuff that was lying around. Also an electric blanket which has been donated to the sally army which accepts electricals. I was mum sitting this afternoon so we have delivered a sympathy card, taken stuff to the SA, gone for my blood test…she came in with me. I now think that might have been what prompted the phlebotomist to ask me if I was okand then to M&S which is now accessible as they’ve moved onto a retail park with parking, and they are open later, and i have a new top and we had a ys tea. i think she enjoyed the activity…she was certainly amused by my joy at getting in and out of the hospital within the free half hour so no parking to pay. Won’t happen when i go for my mammogram.
Might deignto show up at the paid stuff tomorrow.

Morning ladies!
Love the hats Piggers!
Day at home for me today as it's a Teacher Strike Day, so Tiny is NOT impressed that Small will be home today. I must remember to collect Tom after school today - nearly drove out of the carpark without him last time - it was only his forlorn little face peering through the school gate that jolted my recollection of Maggie's request!
Cup of Earl Grey first!

Morning all xx
Love the hats piggers 😍
I'm having a day at home today after a very in and out sort of day yesterday which included decluttering £££ at the optician's for new glasses, coffee with Pops, and going to town to check DS and GF's house, and water the flowerbed.
When I'm at work I have a routine which has been abandoned this week and aaarrrgggghhhh there's stuff everywhere. Well, there always is stuff everywhere tbh, but not usually piles of pots and piles of laundry vieing for space in the kitchen. So the kitchen is my priority today.
Have a good day xx
