Welcome back Brie
good fish and chips are worth spoiling yourself for. I can avoid them most of the year but usually succumb when I'm at the coast as they taste so much better in the fresh air
I'm not sure if this week will be good or bad? my only wisdom tooth has broken not sure when I'm assuming when I ate breakfast but i didn't notice so must of swallowed with my toastcurrently it doesn't hurt unless I'm eating hot or cold but as I can't see my dentist until Tuesday I may regret not lying when I called them this morning. It's liveable now but I really don't like letting my tea cool down to drink and I'm sure it's going to wait until 5pm on Friday to really start to complain. So I'll either not be eating this week or eating soft rubbish to make myself feel better, angel delight or custard!

Sorry to hear about the wisdom tooth, @Brambling. I snapped one off a few years back and had to have it removed under sedation.
Lunch - 2 soft-boiled eggs
Tea - 2 burgers on salad. My son had burgers in lovely brioche buns, salad, homemade chips and onion rings...
The flattening out has stopped. Hopefully it has just stopped on my tummy and is happening elsewhere!4 -
I'm 1lb down please @Brambling :-) Well done on the weightloss and not gaining y'all!
I haven't managed my step target every day this week, and I still have to do my final run today as well. I've struggled to sleep properly with the heat as well. Tiredness makes a massive dent in my motivation to exercise lol!
Back on lower carb/higher fat meals keeping to a calorie limit. I actually feel less hungry and less likely to have a 'snack attack' eating this way.
Menu plan:- Greek yogurt and nuts for breakfast, or chia pudding.
- Cheese/avocado/beans/tofu salad combination for lunches.
- Chilli, parmigiana, curry, tofu, courgette-instead-of-pasta lasagna, sausage casserole type things for main meal, with cauliflower rice or veg.
Keep plodding on :-) x

@Pixie_Cosmo - I try to stay off carbs, IBS being one reason, can't eat baked beans for the same reason.
What about a Greek salad, Feta isn't that bad calorie wise. Coleslaw, maybe with a vegan mayo, I have this with chilli or lasagne.
If I do have carbs, it's something small like half a packet of Melba toast (77 cal. a full pack) with half a tin of soup or a couple of new potatoes (not all the time but on occasion), steamed, they contain less sugars and are apparently the better choice for eating spuds.
I eat no red meat and have mainly fish and turkey (not all the time), don't like eggs so it is a struggle, do you like curry, I make a veggie madras using Patak's paste?MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538
