STS, for me please.
Have been wondering why I'm not doing as well as in the 1st quarter, I'm drinking more water and have nearly cut out having a coke as a treat, I'm even snacking less. So have put it down to a few things,
Hitting the 'diet wall', this has happened to me before, lost quite a bit then slowed down / stopped, needed to increase exercise / cut calories.
Not eating the same things, was eating more chicken with low carb veg (tray bakes).
Age, although getting to a certain time of life, it has made me more determined to lose weight.
A good point is that Mr Pepper is going to do some exercise with me, have found a few programs on YouTube for low impact fat burning.
Well done anyone still with us.
Frith, that was a great week you had, I'm impressed.
Have a good week all.MFW - 01.10.21 £63761 01.10.22 £50962 01.10.23 £39979 01.10.24 £27815. 01.01.25. £17538

Hi
Well done everyone
Weigh day for me and it’s a STS please Brambling.Very pleased with that as the tablets I’m taking make me feel a bit sick and I’m going through giant choc buttons at an alarming rate no idea why I feel much better after eating those. No exercise of note again this week.Onto this week I’ve decided I’m just going to power through the discomfort and get out hiking. Food wise I’ll attempt less carbs, smaller portions and fewer choc buttons.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

@Brambling
Well I dropped out of everything in the last quarter including being sensible about food. Not helped by ending up at the end of June somewhere with truly excellent fish and chips.
So last quarter I wanted to make it down the half mark on the next stone down. And I was 2 pounds about zero. So that was 9 I needed to lose. Nope. Didn't happen.
So now I'm another 2 pounds up so rather than be overly ambitious (since that doesn't work!) I will simply try to get down to the zero. So that's 4 pounds for me please. There's what still 11 weeks or something in the quarter? So hopefully it will work. At the end of the quarter, start of the next I'm hoping to be visiting family which may or may not help.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
