Yep, get your witness statement together to submit 14 days before.

    But expect a discontinuance.

Email from DCB offering to settle for £60 - do I reply? Or ignore?

Ignore and wait for the N279 NoD document to arrive in your inbox or spam folder

Well touch wood, I will post it with pleasure once I receive it. Idk whether to bother putting together my defence and submitting it - I was going to do it next week. No harm I suppose, and I'll post it on here in case it's helpful to anyone else. I'm so appreciative of everyone's help. I wouldn't have had to confidence to follow this path without your advice. 😊

    You aren't at defence stage!

Oh right, I thought I was because I've had my court date.

Your defence was submitted to the CNBC in Northampton around a month after you received the court claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL,  months ago. Your local court already has a copy on file

Your court order with the hearing date on it tells you what you should do,  with a deadline   ( it also states what the claimant must do with their deadlines too  )

In short,  you are at the Witness Statement plus Exhibits stage,  same as everyone else who has a similar court order. You are Witness number one,  as the defendant

Oh duh, sorry I meant to type witness statement, not defence. No good at multitasking anymore 🙈
