Personally I'll never use a parking service where I leave my keys. Just don't feel comfortable with it at all. Maybe I've watched too many Watchdog type exposes! I did look into it recently when we went abroad but all the companies I looked at had a clause allowing them to move your car to "overflow" if needed...

Just got back yesterday afternoon in to Heathrow having used Purple parking and they were great EXCEPT don't use the postcode as your satnav will have you going round in circles, if you are coming off M25 - M4 get to the postcode point where it tells you to turn left  and ignore it and keep going straight on, you will then see it on the right and can turn round at the next point and go back.
Had us in a panic as we were already 40 mins late due to a problem on the M25 (who would have guessed) two people on our bus behind us were saying exactly the same so not just us.

I know this site is all about money saving, but i'm really unsure about handing my keys over to purple parking and letting them do the rest.
For the dates I need, PP is currently around £56, Heathrow long stay is £89.
Going slightly off topic, having never flown from Heathrow before. I'm unsure of what times to put in for arrival and departure of any carpark.
My outbound flight is at 7.05am and I arrive back at 6.30pm. I'm planning to arrive at whatever carpark I choose at around 4am, but what about coming back? how quick is it to get through arrivals? I'm going to norway by the way.
Its normal to arrive at the airport around 3 hours before a flight, so at least 4am in your case and it will be around two or three hours from landing if you have checked luggage to collect, or one to two hours if you are hand luggage only. So estimate getting back at 9pm. But most of them ask for the flight number.

Thanks. It's so hard to tell if these companies are reliable or not. All the online reviews are clearly fake.

I think I'm going to go with Blue Circle. Not the cheapest but they seem to have at least been around for a while.

Really? I looked at them and they’ve only been going since 2009? (Purple parking have been around since the 1990’s and are probably the most famous private airport parking).

Not that I’m recommending them but they’ve been doing it a while.

I may have got the wrong Blue Circle though …

Most of these companies haven't been around for a year or seems. They get bad reviews, change name or fold and start over...

Purple are more than £100 extra. Only a little cheaper than using the Heathrow official Long Stay car park. If the price was closer I'd consider them
