Are the units consumed based on your own figures or ones given by your present supplier.

    £184 is quite a margin.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

I haven't checked the yearly rate but the units are pennies cheaper and standing chare very slightly cheaper. The comparison were for dual fuel.

Forgot to say there is no exit charge so nothing to loose. Very tempting.

Make sure you do a proper comparison with your actual kWh usage.

£184 lower indicates you're a fairly high energy user. If not, then something might be amiss, but it depends if "pennies cheaper" means 1p per dual-fuel, or 3p per dual-fuel.

Has anyone gone with Home Energy? They're coming up as the cheapest for me and I'd consider switching to them if someone else here has used and have not reported any issues.

You may get some info for them from companies house, it doesn't look like many people on the forum have said they are using them.

    It's a year old thread.
I guess you can make of that what you want.
No one saying they are with them.
    Life in the slow lane
  • Personally I'd avoid them like the plague!

Their address is just a registered address along with 27 other businesses at a very ropey house in Leicester (11 Granville Rd, Leicester LE1 7RU)

They appear to be in significant debt of £437,000 and only £18,000 of assets. No staff

Would you trust them with your home energy supply and your personal details including bank account etc…?

Not Me, Not worth the risk in my opinion

What makes you think house is very ropey? No 1 sold for
