Dance doneTesc0 doneshopping awayturnips fed and wateredJust getting ready for swimming and trudging off there.
My stomach is so painful.. it feels like it is on fire in places.. I am sure my intestines have not spontaneously combusted.
OH seems to be indulging himself in spending money we do not have on the garden.. I'm not sure I want to intervene but he has almost maxed the credit card.. I know why he is doing it but it's going to cripple us next month with him being off too. He gets full pay for 1 week then has to go on sick or holidays if he wants more time off.
anyway.. towels need finding.. and the bag..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)5 -
Allotmenting done. Leeks planted, they have 2 chances. Bunch of sweet williams picked to brighten up the house. Lunch had (fresh bread, nom nom). Dithering done in the garden and gh. Wm x 1 done and on the airer outside. DH took it into his head to tidy up the kitchen bookcase. I left him to it. His mess, he sorts it. I, meanwhile, am eyeing up a suitable spot under the patio for him. He is now cutting the grass, hoping to get into my good books. Pah!I really now ought to muster up some flying enthusiasm, but it is so muggy, not sure that I cba.6

Plans took much longer than anticipated. There was an accident on the bypass on the outskirts of town so everything was coming through the centre. One route through was having resurfacing and another had traffic lights due to roadworks so absolute chaos. So having dropped laptop off and gone to the garden centre where we stayed and had coffee and cake to see if it died down, DH then decided we would go straight home rather than get the shopping. That meant I had to walk into town (ok not far but...) so I got my bits in town and went into Mr L and made him meet me to carry stuff home. Still struggling with all the increases so think I need to increase the budget next month
The fridge has been decluttered and wiped out. but that's about it. I am going to find this weeks list print it and make sure I cross some things off other than what is on kitchen day!

I HATE my in-laws with every fibre of my being.. I am glad I never have to see or hear from any of them again.
*delete rage filled rant*
Laundry in off the line all nice and folded.
I think the DW got loaded but I can't remember.
OH has gone to my mothers to look at a plant pot and take her some loo roll.. I was going to but right now I am so angry I can't bear to look at him. If I had somewhere to go I would not be here when he got back!

Condolences Pigpen & family x
ASB So sorry DD had an accident. Huge hugs for you both. x
I’m supporting DH after he had a bereavement of an estranged unpleasant family member. He doesn’t know how to feel. I have warned work about the upcoming funeral. 4th this year, I think they may think I’m making them up.

Hand washing done, I get through so many more bras in this weather.6 -
DM.. at least you get a funeral.. MIL is direct cremation and sprinkled on the common with the dog.
I have applied for domestic violence disclosure under clares law regarding SIL's partner.. if a single thing comes up they are never seeing my girls again. I have cut my own sister dead I can do the same for that lot.

Morning all. It's raining!
DD is popping over this morning as it's Father's Day. I'm planning to take Poppet for a walk and sort out a few cupboards indoors. Exciting stuff eh?
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
hi all
went swimming with DD then went to see the aged ps as they’re off on holiday today. it will be my mums last foray abroad (assuming they got on the plane), she will never be well enough again. She has apoarently, had a stroke so dad is now accepting she may have dementia/alzheimer’s and not a vitamin deficiency or long covid (though she never had covid). He was clutching at straws hoping she’d get better when, actually, it’s painfully clear she’s declining.
anyway, i mentioned the fridge … well we emptied it, found dramatically mouldy cream cheese, ancient shortcrust pastry which should have been stored frozen… so the fridge was emptied and washed out. Then we cleared the food cupboards. Best before 2014 was the worst, lots of dangerously stored foods…open tubes of tomato purée. 3 cupboards emptied, cleaned out and put back tidily what was ok. Flour etc removed as she isn’t baking. i’ve promised her a jelly and a lemon meringue with the not old pie filling. We threw another 3. And the ndn has asked me if she’s ok because she’s noticed changes. So i told her no, but as yet we’ve no diagnosis but mum doesn’t want anyone to know…she thinks she’s hiding it, it is so sad.
Post holiday she has her visit to the memory clinic.
They got on the plane, dad has sent a photo.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all
Oh Piggers you really are having a time of it. Coping vibes coming your way, and to you Valli. We all do such a lot for so many others don’t we?
Is Kazwookie still around?Lovely to see you Dancemum xx
Yesterday was one of those days where we should just have stayed home! Long story short, yet another trip to A&E, lots of tears (mainly from me), a fortune spent on convenience food because I had nothing with me and the children were starving. Had a bottle of wine to myself 🙄 once they were in bed and got really melancholy, Googling private treatment for DD. Note to self - alcohol isn’t the answer!!
Today - eleven trillion jobs to do. It’s my first full day at home in months, and the kids are staying home too. We all need a rest. First job is to round up the sheep that are being sheared today - haha wish me luck!! Xx8
