Welcome home Asb. It's great to have you back, sparklier than before. Hope all is well in the polytunnel, henhouse, piggery and sheep fold - not to mention the human habitation xxx
It has been too hot here to do much since lunchtime, and I never heard back from the Scrapstore so couldn't go and declutter my boxes this afternoon. Instead I've had a siesta and am now off to bring in the washing and cook tea - quickly, before I melt - then afterwards I will walk Rosie and pull up some forget-me-nots.7 -
Just nipping in to give my love to piggers and OH. Xx
And wave to asb xx
I left the house at 8 and arrived home again at 7.40. I'm banjaxed....but watered the hanging basket and refilled the bird bath before I came in and flumped

my friend pointed me in the way of Sarah Beeny’s documentary, but it’s too much, i’ve had to stop. I have sat out with a glass of faux wine instead.
Actually need to phone hospital re Fridays appt. which i missed due to covid. Had i gone i would have answered ‘no’ to the covid questions anyway, as i didn’t have symptoms.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I'm up to date with report writing. Possibly last assessment of the term tomorrow although I'll double check with admin if there are any 'pending'.
Had a major flying moment yesterday when Mr N decided our mattress might be giving him backache, so we swapped it for the spare bed one which involved him hoovering both sides of both mattresses and both bed frames. Ick. However, he didn't feel a lot better this morning so maybe it is time for a new mattress. Boring.
Other than that, I'm doing what little I can as I don't do heat........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Just popping in for a read.
So sorry to hear about your MIL pigpen, sending hugs to you all.

lovely to see ASB back.
got the day off to a flying start… it’s cooler in the morning (just) so i’ve ironed in my nightie! All ironing done now, one maiden full, other part full plus some stuff on hangers. Swimming kit in bag (must remember to book for next week) so all good. I have also shredded some paperwork and all on cheap rate leccy.
Having a coffee now and rest of tablets.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
