Same issue here. App is slow to update balances, circles spins for an age and sometimes just crashes saying it can't update.
I'm using a Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra so not sure if it is an app issue (others seem to be ok others not) or is it a phone issue?0 -
As it has been said before, the app has been built to be optimised with powerful hardware. I have the account from the pilot launch, and never had issue with balances loading, as others have said, so together with other known facts, I would put it down to hardware issues (and/or potentially network/wi-fi issues).0

No issues with App here1

I think it's got worse. Sometimes I open the app and no matter how long I leave it the balances don't update. Kill the app, reopen and it's just fine. So why doesn't it work one minute but does the next? If it was the phone then surely it would struggle all the time.2

My aunt has a Xiaomi and whilst it works, the software clearly isn't as polished as Google or Samsung Android.0 -

Deliberately choosing to "optimise" the app so it can only run well on ultra-powerful devices would be a ridiculous decision. A big proportion of their customer base wouldn't have those devices so get annoyed, while those who do have ultra-powerful phones get no noticeable benefit. Absolutely nothing in the app should require significant power to perform the way it does - it's a bog standard, plain banking interface.3 -
I find the Chase app is sluggish every time I open it. The balance always takes a few seconds to update and it really annoys me. I don't have a powerful phone, but I have 12 different banking apps, and I only have this problem with Chase.2

However, as i have posted previously,Chase app sometimes takes a few seconds to update on my phone as well, but I find that is worth tolerating for the benefits and value that I appreciate.

Agree @ EasyJet 77, a few seconds to upload, a lifetime to some people 😄1
