Chase Banking App, terrible?

Hello, does anyone have any experience of using the Chase banking app. I've had my account now for just over a year and am pretty happy, the 1% cash back has been a great feature, but..
The app is consistently letting them down. Often for hours at a time when I enter the app the circle loading appears and it's unable to update the balance etc, it's frustrating when having to confirm every payment you're making with your card through the app, it takes you to the app to confirm and then it can't load and just times out.. I've had 2 parking tickets because I've had to confirm the payment through the app and having confirmed it it hasn't wen through because of the app issues.
I'm going to get in touch with them and complain, has anyone had similar experiences?

Always instant for me, was on iPhone 7Plus and now on an iPhone 13 been with Chase for 11 months
used it for parking app in Leeds this afternoon and no need to authorise, not sure why it is needing you to authorise such small amountsTotally Debt Free & Mortgage Free Semi retired and happy0 -
No problem for me0

Had my account since day one and only complaint is the second or two it takes to update the 'live" balance.
It's an irritation, but no more than that atm tbh.

Yup I have the problem constantly, It's the worst thing about Chase. Usually if you just close the app and open it again it loads in but sometimes it doesn't and you have just give up trying. It does it regardless of whether I'm currently on data or WIFI and I don't have the problem with any other bank app, it's not a phone problem.0

Its the same for me. Been with them for a year and it has always been like this.
I'm giving some thought to moving to a different bank with a better app (other apps I've used do not have the same issue as I see with the Chase one).
Visually the app is bland. However I am also questioning myself - how much importance should there be on an app if the accounts themselves are above others (e.g. the 1% on current account, and 1% cashback is basically "free" money). I've been doing a comparison between multiple banks trying to get the best alrounder rather than having multiple accounts.
Chase - good for current and easy access savings. Seems They also now allow multiple current accounts so you can set up accounts for direct debs to separate out bills from day to day.
Bad for the app (for me - it is the worst app I have ever used in terms of bank account apps), and long term savings, and no Joint account options.
Leaning towards Monzo, but this is missing a few nice features namely:
- Multiple easy access savings accounts
- Cashback and interest on the current account

Had a chase account for over a year. Use the app a lot, and never once had any negative issue. Using android phone.2

Used chase since it first became available. Only problem with app,for me, is that it is sometimes a little slow, but waiting a few seconds isn't important or any trouble to me.
Otherwise ,very satisfied with Chase app, account and services.
I use a cheap entry level android phone, works well.3
