Nardy said:I wish I had read this thread an hour ago. I've signed up and I haven't seen any references to the promo code. I accessed the site using the MSE link with the Firefox browser. I assumed the MSE link would automatically take care of it.
I've stopped panicking, I've just received an email saying I will receive the cashback in 6 months time.

Anyone else had an email this PM stating;
You’ve already qualified for our exclusive £100 cashback promotion through Money Saving Expert. But we noticed that you haven’t taken the next step yet.
This is following an email received on 06/06 stating I had qualified.
I assume it is an error and have contacted them but just flagging here in case anyone else has received. I will post reply once received.

Yup, I received the same, I assume indeed it's an error....0

Noticed that the £100 bonus has been credited. An error occurs when I try and withdraw it though - maybe I need to let 6 months pass first. anyone else?1

Thanks for linking the terms. In my view, it pretty clearly says the cashback can either be invested or withdrawn. The only stipulation is for the "total amount deposited" (my bold) to be retained on the platform. So I don't think it should matter that the investment has fallen in value.friolento said:

@orange-juice I've just withdrawn my £100 and it seems to have gone into pending withdrawal mode fine enough for me. You might need to contact customer service if there's no obvious reason why it's not working.1 -
I tried to move my £100 into the GIA and it wouldn't let me. When I called them, they suggested this might be a problem with the app, and it should work online. But they did move it for me so I never tried it online.If you tried the withrawal in the app and it wouldn;t work, give it a go online.0

Good to hear you’ve submitted a withdrawal request without issues. I’ve messaged cs on chat.Frequentlyhere said:

@orange-juice I've just withdrawn my £100 and it seems to have gone into pending withdrawal mode ok so should hopefully work. You might need to contact customer service if there's no obvious reason why it's not working.
@friolento - good shout. No issues on the website.0 -
Confirming withdrawals work just fine online.

Yes the withdrawal option in the app didn't work for me, nor did the option to report a bug. I opened a chat in the app and someone called me on my mobile to explain it's a known issue which they are trying to remedy. He said I should be able to action the withdrawal on their website, or he could do it for me on the phone. I opted to do it online and it seems to be going through. (There's a note saying it could take up to two working days.)0
