How do you know when the 1000 limit has been reached don't want to open one and then not get the bonus ?
Presumably they will disable the code when they've had enough sign-ups.

    I am NOT impressed...

The only way to fund it is to give your bank details, and when I tried the button to add them was greyed out. This happened with both my current accounts (Virgin Money and Nationwide). They have not yet responded to my email; it is impossible to request an immediate call-back; the option to book a call at a particular time does not seem to work (I clicked 'Confirm' and the same page loaded again).

There is a not very clearly visible box at the end of the "I’m the account holder and the only person needed to authorise payments" line that needs to be clicked on before the option to add the bank details gets highlighted. Have you done this?

Yeah I had trouble seeing some of the checkboxes, which got me stuck for a few moments on a couple of the screens. They blend into the background.

I paid in £500 but have been given a message taken by my wife that the money has to come from another bank account that has been established for at least 3 months which mine has, so I don't understand. I tried to ring them on 0203 650 0331 as per website but the phone has a discontinued tone. Are we sure this company is genuine.

It's generally best to be sure before sending £500. My deposit was received today (though still showing as pending) and fund orders have been placed, so it doesn't seem that the 2 working days to credit and 3 working days for fund orders run consecutively.

I emailed them about this earlier as I signed up via my android phone via the mse link and it only mentioned the 12 months fee waiver when clicking on the link. They have just come back confirming the following :

    Hi xxxxx,

I can confirm that the promotional code has tracked to your account, and you are one of the eligible thousand. You therefore have until the 30th of June to fund your account, in order to receive the cashback.

    All the best,

Looks like the 1000 spots have been claimed already.

for this bit >”You must have either opened and funded or have initiated a transfer to your &me account during the Offer Period and you must deposit and invest or initiate a transfer to a &me plan of at least £500”

I did £501 but only £494 of it was invested. Asked the question on chat and waiting for an answer. They said 2% is kept as cash so I hope that means it’s ok…

Yes, it's been removed from the cashback offers section of the MSE guide.

I don't think you need to worry about that. You instructed them to invest at least £500, cash is a valid part of an investment portfolio.

I have just transferred £500 into there like others have done so presumably that will be OK. Not been received yet but will see how much of that gets invested.
