I saw the & me sign-up bonus in the MSE email tonight - https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/robo-funds/#deals

Never heard of them before but £100 bonus for £500 invested for a year sounds like a reasonable way to take a punt and come out on top, but on clicking the provider link the site itself currently lists the MSE bonus instead as no fees for a year, which at a saving of just under ~1%/£5 isn’t anywhere near as attractive a prospect.

Has anyone gone on and created an account and if so, is the cash bonus mentioned? If not and it’s just the platform fees negated then I think I’ll pass as I can think of plenty of easier ways to slowly lose money.

@PloughmansLunch Where do you see this? This is what the T&Cs (downloaded from the affiliate sign-up page) say -
All through the pre and post sign-up process it keeps mentioning the code like so

It all seems to indicate the £100 cb as described in the MSE email.

Maybe it’s something weird on iOS/my phone then as the T&C link just keeps reloading this page:

I’ll try tomorrow on a desktop and probably delete this thread as I don’t want to give the wrong impression.

EDIT: I’ve tried 3 different browsers (Safari/Firefox/Brave) and all the same with no visible T&Cs or mention of the bonus at any point either. Very strange

M&G are well-known and have been around for decades. Signup process is fast and easy. Some questions are a bit prying, but no biggie. Easy way to make a huge +20% net gain in 6 months.

Beware: Your deposit must remain invested for one (1) year from the date of actual investment in a &me plan.

I’ve got to the end of the process, but there was still no mention at all of the bonus until I pasted in the MSE23_CB_100 code mentioned above a few steps into the application. I kept getting non-clickable buttons and error pop-ups on an almost brand new phone, but if it’s fine for everyone else then I dunno, maybe I’ve wronged the app developer’s ancestors in a previous life or something.

Did you start the application process by pressing the Redeem Offer button?

I get a completely different splash screen from clicking the email link with no ‘redeem offer’ button - see post #3 above

Maybe it is a "cookies" thing.

I'd try deleting all history and cookies, closing all browser windows, do a full reboot, then try again from the MSE link.

Under the hood it's actually Moneyfarm with M&G branding. A couple of months ago I took a similar offer via TopCashback and when your monthly DD is taken the statement entry will read, "Moneyfarm."

Also those T&Cs mention only the first 1000 customers will get the bonus. Whether they tell you if you are 1001 before you actually sign up and hand over your cash, who knows!
