I finally got my car back today after a week without.
It meant I was able to go out and do a tiny grocery shop, until I do a proper shop tomorrow.
Spent so far £19.95/300.00

Hi Elsiepac and everyone else.
I'm straddling the month as I paid 15th so my month ends on 14th June.
As at 31st May I had spent £470/750 But I still have 14 days to go.
That running total includes 2 trips to Costco, one trip to Aldi and far too many TGTG than is decent.
That leaves £280 to keep us going until 14th which is quite possible bearing in mind that my freezers are rammed.
Having calculated that I spent over £900 in April/May, before discovering this challenge, I am quite pleased and have seen zero credit card spending.
I am wondering if it will be easier to just run from the 1st to the 30th to be honest, just to make tracking easier and to keep me aligned with the group.
I will ruminate over the next day or so and come back to you.

2 apple puffs made quickly today to use last of pastry in fridge with half a tin of apple pie filling. They were put in freezer for a lovely treat for DH and I when we get the house back to ourselves. Going to use up the last of the sweet potatoe to make veggie nests for lunch time. I think we might need to do another small shop for mor fruit but other than that I am hoping that we might make it to the end of the week without more spends. Wish me luck as I have very little chance of staying in budget this month!!!craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £17.98 spent, 102 made and 5 mended,

I also tipped over the £200 budget limit I had set myself in May (£209.17) with five weeks of milk bills. I am trying to consistently stay under £220 so I have some slack for December!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £2664.85 out of £6000 after March (44.41%)

Well today saw the withdrawal of £200 for the month and £50 has been left in the bank pot for Justin. We had managed well and had an actual left over cash balance of £6.56. What I also do trying to eek out savings too is when we are given change that has either a £2 coin or 5p there are 2 special vessels that these specific coins to go into. So £2.05 was added to the food bill making todays shop £9.75.
