    Hi,
I’ve been looking at the providers that piggyback off EE as do plus net, I struggle to get a signal where I live but not too bad with plus net. One of them is 1p mobile but I’m not savvy the who’s ok, has anyone used1p?

just checked again and I don’t think they have Wi-Fi  calling
I am using 1PMobile and very happy with them. You may find you get a better signal with them than plusnet as they use the FULL EE service, plusnet don't and I could never get a plusnet signal at my home.  And 1PMobile includes wifi calling that should solve the poor signal at home problem anyway.

2bh all providers are marmite, depends on your needs (data usage, wifi calling, tethering), customer service can be a bit erratic.

I'd have no hesitation in recommending 1pMobile - you can always find negative reviews for anything if you look hard enough but their TrustPilot ratings seem reassuring and I have found them to be very good - their website is superb and you get the full EE network not just some of it, plus wi-fi calling.

Don't see why they can't just rebrand it EE and send you out an EE simcard, and honor their contract with you

Cannot sleep after reading virgin mobile reviews on trustpilot! The app is also quite invasive in regards to data collection compared to plusnet so I'm going to cancel it.
With 1p mobile -am I being dumb, if you have unlimited calls & texts & more than enough data what would you spend the top up on? Wouldn't credit just keep accumulating if you have to keep topping up every 4 months but not spending?

Yes, the regular top ups sort of negate the benefit of low charges for very light usage with 1p mobile for this reason.

£3 per month unlimited calls SMS
    £3 1gb per month
If you only chose 1 of these boosts and topped up £30 a year then you would not have unspent credit

    You've lost me?
If you have unlimited calls and texts and some data with 1p Mobile that means you'll have an active bundle (or boost to use their word). This will be charged each month to the credit or debit card you register with them. As boosts are £3+ per month, this will cover the £2.50 per month (£10 every 4 months) minimum topup requirement as you'll be, in effect, topping up to buy the boost.

Because they no longer want to sell at the current budget rates. You already have an EE SIM, that what PN runs on.
The cheapest 'special deal' to ex PN customers is £8 a month: that's a near 50% increase on the £6 I was paying until a month ago.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
