Hi all
Just popping in to give Jazee and Valli hugs and wave at everyone else. It's been a horrible week and I have had to give myself a strict talking to otherwise I am going to let this job take over my life and reduce me to a jibbering wreck.
Tomorrow I am taking DS to hospital but because I cant go in with him it means I get a couple of hours to pootle about around the out of town shopping centre nearby, which given how things are at the moment is quite appealing.
But for now I am sat down with feet up.
Bring on the weekend.9 -
Hello,
I have WUDUPA, apart from the spoons of all size which are by the door, waiting for Jazee and Valli to help themselves to.
Not sure where yesterday evening went, but I did clear the ironing pile while DH was out. Then I wasted spent a very productive evening looking through dressmaking patterns and fabric. I might just have ordered some fabric this evening after my “cooling off” period. That worked then! In my defence, I remembered that my 2 pairs of decent summer trousers nearly wore through last summer, and being of the long legged persuasion, I’m going to make a pair myself.
Not a lot done today. Am so ready for Friday. Dinner cooked, kitchen tidied. Nothing else done, flying wise.
Thinking of you tomorrow, YL x8 -
Fayolle.. In case you've not had the idea.. if you like the fit of your worn out trousers.. dismantle them and use them as the pattern for new pairs. I'm not generously adorned with leg length.. girth yes.. lol..Many email sent..DW done..
DS2's washing boiled 3 times and now on the line.. the WM is having a bleachy bath.

thank you so much for the spoons, lots done today, ironing pile signifivpxantly reduced, washing line dried, WUADAPA 😇 meeting gone to, knitting done. Don’t know if i said but the needle sizes im using are less than the pattern. They were my sisters, so i’m pleased i’m finally using them. I have some vintage needles in old sizing that have never been used - they still have their paper wrapper on. Aero, size 13.
Wobbly thing on car fixed, wheels balanced. i took the baby cardigan button band with me to knit while i waited and i also popped to the spares shop for another oven light bulb. i walked from the car place.
sorrybif there are typos/missing punctuation but my specs are in the office,

EHCP meeting cancelled but we had to go collect Squeak anyway as there was a power cut at the school and everyone was sent home.
Squeak now catching up on homework after lunch and putting all the laundry in the basket. I may trot up there when she is done and demand she helps tidy the pit that is the sorry excuse for their room.
I have a few bits to hang out, maybe 10 tshirts.. and the DW can have her lunch box in when she is done and can be turned on.
I might chuck a dollop of pig in the SC for tonight.. one less thing to faff about cooking.

Thanks Fayolle x
DS has been for taken for treatment for his Crohn's, which meant driving to the big city and back. I have also done a 30 minute workout, a couple of hours paid stuff, and been to Mr Ts for some food shopping. Tired now, didnt sleep very well.
Tomorrow I have to work for a couple of hours then a quiet day at home I think. Hoping that DH can be persuaded to drive out to the coast on Sunday if the weather is good.
