Fayolle said:If anyone is in touch with ASB, send our love and say thank you from me. I use her trick of putting freshly boiled water into a flask all the time. It has made such a difference.

Nearly 4 hours at the allotment!! The fact that only a part of it looks better shows you just how out of control it is. Came home, ate lunch whilst multi tasking. Remembered that I probably ought to get some fresh food in, so grabbed a Mr M slot for Thursday, which DH will have to deal with.Bathroom cleaned, Trusty Toothbrush brought into action, and again whilst I emulated Round and tried to diagnose the wm issue. I have used white vinegar and a toothbrush. See if that does the trick, otherwise I think I have found the spare part that might solve it. Just need a Mario Plumber to fit it. Hmmm, maybe I can do that too.
Kettle is on if anyone wants a cuppa. And I “found” the custard creams if you fancy one. Then I need to sort a couple of plants out in the gh and get some more salad seeds in. See just how nicely I can avoid dusting etc when I put my mind to it 😊8 -
Well done Fayolle.
All Tuesdailies are done but it's pouring down here now and my washing is wet. I hate it when the weather forecast is correct.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
So.. today ..
Finished work just after lunch to go to the hairdressers. Work was manic as ever so I quickly packed up my stuff so I could go to the hairdressers with a plan to come home afterwards and work from home for the rest of the day. All good, hair cut, arrived home and unpacked my bags. Err, where is my laptop? Logical part of my brain says no-one can have taken it from the car while it was parked outside the hairdressers without me knowing. Illogical part of my brain is panicking and was certain I had put it in my bag. No way was I going to rest without checking.
So I drove back to the office to find my laptop on my desk. Back home to do more work, cook a roast dinner, hoover through, put a load of washing in, clean up kitchen. I have just nicely sat down.
Nice to hear news of ASB, but sorry to hear about her daughter.9
