Hello,
I joined last night’s WAC party, after feeling smug for 2 previous nights of sleep. Changed our duvet down to a light one plus a blanket on Tuesday and felt better for it. Apart from last night of course. Very strange dreams when I did snooze. Something about not being invited to a street party, and this all being advertised to the world through upside down milk bottles down our drive….!!Anyhoo, made it up, out and in to work without tripping over any sneaky milk bottles, so all was well.Very grateful for it being Friday even though I only did a 3 day week, that DH has gone out for a couple of hours to leave me as Queen of the Remote, and that I have a bowl of custard to keep me company 😊.I hope today was bearable at work for you, YL. And Round, of course. Glad to hear that Rosie is up to being walked.6 -
I'm on Annual Leave this week Fayolle. I've had a lovely day at home - decluttering, reading magazines, and a 5pm appointment at the hairdresser's.

Morning all. It's the weekend!
I slept really well so I've come to the conclusion that I'm only in the WAC when I've got paid stuff the next day.
Today is grandma duties so I'm not sure how much flying I'll get done.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
Morning all,
Another spell in the WAC. Then this morning I stood on the scales to verify that the (loose) regime of salads is not working, and the scales now read higher than they did when I started in March. So this evening I will bring custard creams to the WAC.
It isn’t actually raining yet, so outside flying calls. In a fit of enthusiasm and organisation, I wrote a manageable list last night for the weekend, but in the cold light of day it looks less than interesting. I need to buck my ideas up - anyone seen my guag?
Enjoy your day, whatever you may have planned x7 -
Morning all. just having my vertical half hour as I woke at 7 but drifted back to sleep. Forecast is good so i’m hoping for some line drying to happen. Bedding. I have clean sheets - one of life’s pleasures.
I have a huge bag of rhubarb, the aged ps called in on their way back from the allotment so i might make some jam and freeze some for crumbles. I’ve mislaid some expenses receipts so i might give some to the person who’s they are as a softener until i find them, too. So a pop in to work looks likely.
Off to a friends tonight for Eurovision. i’m not bothered, particularly, but it will lay the ghost of the last time i watched it in a ‘party’ which was with my sisters as it was Janice’s birthday - at that point we were hopeful treatment would be successful.

Hallooooo xx
I slept last night. Weird dreams but 😴 I'm now up, made my bed and supped my first brew. Oh, and I brought down the laundry hamper.
Very grey and overcast here too. No idea what the forecast is. It's probably waiting to see if I peg out my washing or not 🤣
My 'do a bit, sit a bit' method seems to be working well. The pile of stuff waiting to go to DS is quite large, and today I plan to add to it: cricket bat, cricket stumps, dumb bells (if I can carry them) and more psychology text books for starters.
Brew 2 and breakfast first.
Love to all.

Cricket bat has been dewebbed and added to the pile of stuff for DS
No rain is forecast today. First load is pegged out. Towels and tea towels are now swishing.
Clean towels put in bathroom. Bleach sploshed down the loo. Fed the birds. Put out the recycling.

Onions planted - fanfare please! DH has cut the grass so seems to intend to fall asleep after all the exertion. And no, we don’t live on a country estate with a huge lawn, just in case you had any thought to feel sympathy for him.Fridge sorted (it is pretty empty, to be fair, so that didn’t take long), fruit bowl replenished. Now to do a couple of outside jobs - the promised sunshine hasn’t materialised, but at least it isn’t raining. Yet.
And yes, DH is snoring. Excuse me while I throw something at him…7 -
Fayolle.. OH is outside mincing the grass here too.. he will not be napping either.. we have Squeak in her spongebob performance at 7 and I need to feed everyone first and there is washing to hng out and a DW to load once the cats have finished eating.. and we need to go buy cat biscuits as we have run out and their fat furry stomachs think they might expire from hunger.
Dance class and swimming done, Twinkles glasses fixed.. and I have nerd file to put everyones paperwork in.. it is a long ehausting process but I need to keep abreast of everyones millions of appointments.

Hi all
Sunny here now. I am tired and feeling a bit flat. Went for a walk this morning then spent most of the afternoon catching up with laundry, dusting hoovering and generally restoring a bit of order to the place. Going to Mums for lunch tomorrow.
Havent managed to get to the library this week so dont think I have anything to read, might have to download a digital book. Ten days at the paid stuff before the next long weekend!7
