My Aunt Kate's head comes out for regular use, but more often by K than me.  She is taller than me and can reach the ceilings with its 4-foot bamboo pole more easily than I can (and I don't mind the odd spider - they are excellent fly catchers).

I have been feeding Rosie 15ml of water through a plastic syringe every half hour or so, with no ill effects.  DH went out and bought chicken, and as soon as I opened the packet, Rosie came downstairs to investigate - a good sign that she is feeling a bit better.  So far she has just had some of the water in which I have been poaching a piece of chicken, lapping it up eagerly from her bowl.  I'll give her a bit more of the same soon, and then I'll cook her some rice in the rest of the stock, and give her some chicken after that.  Fingers crossed.

Hi all

I feel dreadful, so tired.  Had a bad nights sleep last night and DH wanted to go shopping today, it's all catching up with me.  Thanks for the thread, I have read but not really absorbed anything.

I have managed to hoover through, mop hard floors, do a couple of loads of washing, and have a general tidy around.  DS1 is going on holiday early tomorrow and fretting about everything so I am trying to reassure him through WhatsApp.

I need to pack my lunch and get organised for morning, in a little while.

Hope Rosie improves Ionafan.
Had planned to fly in the church Big Helpout for a couple of hours and we ended up doing 4hrs! 4 bags of recycling/rubbish/CS removed, had to empty vacuum 4 times - crikey it matched the amount I've spent on my house for ......ages. Mr N, vicar and vicar's wife did a fine job weeding the churchyard.

Got home exhausted so had lunch in front of the coronation as we'd only seen highlights on TV. It was a long lunch......
Did a bit of a report which I'd really wanted to finish today, but I don't think it is going to happen.

Morning all,
Rubbish night’s sleep here, and to cap it all, I burst the teabag in the all essential first brew. And didn’t realise until I had a mouth of tealeaves. Yuck. Any excuse for a second one, though.
Bedding changed, wm running. Today’s plan is to take DD’s car to small town to fill with petrol and give it a run, errands whilst I’m there (obviously I am already stressing about all of this). The flying plan is to clean the bedroom and the ensuite when I get back, given that the weather forecast is so dire so that gardening seems to be off the agenda.
YL, I hope you are feeling better this morning, even if you are at paid stuff.

Morning xx 

All anxious here as I was preparing to ring the social housing to ask them to come and fix the boiler. Then I had a bit of a💡 moment and, after checking with Mr G00gle, I  turned the boiler off, and then on again. Guess what! It worked 💪.  So now I need to ring and ask them to come and look at why the boiler keeps cutting out. Because there's obviously something not right somewhere. The line is busy this morning so I'll try again later. And breathe...

So far today I've:
Got up
Made my bed
Sploshed bleach down the loo 
Opened windows upstairs 
Supped 2 brews
Eaten breakfast 
Listened to a meditation (for anxiety)
Got dressed
Put the airer outside in the sun ( not pegging out as rain is forecast and it's easier to quickly grab the airer to bring it in than to rush down the garden to unpeg)
Temporarily fixed the boiler (call me Mario 😊)
Fed the birds
Put out the recycling 

To Do Today
WUDUPA 
Make appt to have boiler checked
2pm coffee at H's
Pay the rent 
Post cheque
Get cash for window cleaner (not sure when he's due but I like to be prepared 😉)
Carry on clearing LR floor 🐢

Update
They obviously don't think the boiler is going to explode! Appointment to inspect boiler is on....Monday 26th June!!! If it goes again and I can't reset it ring back. 

Maybe I can relax now. I loathe making phone calls yet don't bat an eyelid when making a myriad complex calls for work! Crazy 🤪

Well done, Round 🌟. You can have one of the cinnamon buns which seem to have fallen into my bag, can’t for the life of me think how 😊. I’ve done my errands (helped by 2 out of 4 shops being closed, not sure why) and given DD’s car a good run. Avoided a skittish Dalmatian who was on too long a lead, 2 sports cars having a face off, and the dustmen. I’ve sent DD a little something to help her get through revision for major exams. She works so hard, bless her, so hopefully she will enjoy a little treat on me. 

Round, if you can figure out why my wm keeps throwing a tantrum, then I will certainly call you Mario 🤣

DH is on a work call upstairs, so that’s my excuse for not starting on the bedroom. Coffee and cinnamon bun anyone?

Hello, me again.

Tuesdailies are done.  It's sunny here at the moment and really warm so I've put washing on the line.  I had a lovely hour long walk with Poppet as well.

Just having lunch.  I'm meeting with friends later for an hours catch-up then need to pick up a toy I'm buying second hand for the toddlers.
