Evening all,
Nothing earth-shattering to report, for which I am grateful. I’m glad that Rosie is on the mend, Iona. Give her another hug from me.
Today, I am appreciating:
- that DH hung the washing outside and managed to get it dry in between threatening and real showers. OK, so now I do have an ironing pile again. Not so good.
- the wonder of leftovers - tonight’s dinner was chicken and ham left over from Christmas, along with a random 1/2 block of puff pastry, all turned into 2 x individual pies and cooked in the remoska to save on the energy. Space generated in the freezer to boot.
- having a much needed good night’s sleep last night. It’s been quite a while since I have slept for more than a couple of hours at a time.
The kitchen is tidy-ish, packed lunch made for tomorrow - still on the last of the leftovers from the weekend, eked out with extra salad. Now it’s back to sock knitting.
Hugs to all, including missing flyladies in the hope that you are lurking occasionally x7 -
Hi all
Tricky day at the paid stuff but like Fayolle I am finding gratitude in the fact that I got through it without too much stress. Tomorrow we have a family funeral and somehow I have to fit in much more paid stuff around it. Cycled in to the office today which I am pleased with.
Clean washing is sorted and put away, sheets have stayed on the line because they got soaked. Kitchen tidied. House is not too bad.
Is it nearly weekend?8 -

tomorrow id like to aim for a few little extras despite having a crazy day and work not finishing till around 7pm tomorrow.
my monkey boy is doing his sats as well this week and the emotion is high in our house at this moment. usually he is very good about doing his few jobs but ive been picking up the slack on them to give him a little more breathing space.
tonights last minute jobs before i go to bed are to throw the washing in the dryer, put the washer on timer so its finishing a wool load for when i get up in the morning, put the dishwash on and pack my bag for tomorrow with lunch and snacks.8 -

Hello all. Hope you're all ok ok today.
Going to have early lunch then I think I'll sort out some of the food cupboards.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Late again sorry. Thank you for the thread x
Extremely short staffed and stressed at work. Made worse by me having a week of annual leave next week.
tonight I have
ordered some groceries and booked future slots, put wm on, wiped the disgustingly dirty floor under the clothes horse, packed a bag of supplies for DS2 for visit on Sunday
I’m not up to date with everyone’s news. Hope things are going well.
went up the motorway on Sunday to a large shopping centre, waved to Valli both ways.
Ds1 is job hunting again 🙁6 -
Hello,
This evening I am grateful for the light evenings, as it meant that I could get out into the gh after work to make sure that the tomato babies were ok. I also found momentum to clear mount ironmore after WULTD from dinner, as well as sorting the clean washing and reloading the wm for the morning. We had a few laughs at work today, as it was just the good core group in the office. The director bore the brunt of the jokes and took it all in good humour.
I’m flagging now, so it may be pj time, no matter that it is daylight still.7
