Morning all. Just slurping first cuppa. Hope you're all ok today.
There was a break in the rain yesterday so Poppet got her walk but oh my the thunderstorm later! Hoping it stays dry today as we're meeting with friends and family outside for a coronation event.
Anyway I must get the house ready now for the arrival of the grand toddlers.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning all xx
First brew being supped here too.
I'm up, made my bed, got dressed. At some point today I will feed the birds and put out the rubbish and recycling. But most of the day will be dedicated to watching a piece of history happen. Telly is already on.
Have a good day

Good morning all,
First brew here too. I saved energy by pinching some of Round’s boiled water 🤫.
I need to get clear in my head what I am cooking to feed a dozen people tomorrow as I am hosting the coronation get together. Lists will be happening today, and as much prep as possible. Lists can, of course, happen from the comfort of the settee 🙃.
The promised rain is already here. We had a few cracks of thunder yesterday where I work, but nothing like that promised or that Jazee had. Nothing at all at home, just 20 miles away.
Have a lovely day all, whether you are waving flags, glued to the tv or getting on with other things x7 -
Me again. Got everything ready for the grand toddlers including rain cover for the pushchair but one is not coming now. Poor thing is up chucking. I've a feeling the other may bail out too given the weather forecast but hey I've got an umbrella!Spend less now, work less later.7

Rubbish out.
New bin bags in bins.
Watching guests arrive at the Abbey. Two ladies* just arrived wearing exact the colours I want for my kitchen 🤣One in cornflower blue, the other in primrose yellow.
Coffee ☕ now

why does nowhere in the world have garlic granules in stock?? I only need 1/4 teaspoon.. so annoying..OH taking girls to dance and picking up the scrotesda order on the way back... and I am complaining about my sore burn and sorting a million other thing..letter arrived for house insurance doubling last years policy so that need sorting and the car insurance and the DLA renewal.. I have dance and swimming today and I am in the middle of a text to MIL..Today OH and the beasts can tidy the front room and OH can mince the grass and Pixie can fill feeders.I need to parcel up a dress and list a few more bits for sale and pick up prescriptions... I might slurp my cuppa and go do that while they're at dance.. get it out of the way. I have a letter nagging me to make an opticians appointment.. so I can ignore that for a few more years. I have the feeblest of reading specs which make no difference at all really especially as I do not put them on.. so I will not be bothering.Postie collected yesterdays parcels.. *fling* ...Clothes first..

Hi all
I hope King Charles forgives me, I was up at the sports field getting set up for our Coronation celebrations while he was in the Abbey.
Just having a sit down and a brew and watching the telly before I do a little flying, I can catch up on Monday if necessary, so no pressure. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day and I need to be back at the sports field for a couple of hours tonight to put up a marquee.
At least the sun is shining. Hope Saturday is going well for everyone x7 -
