I also dragged myself into work, but it was partly my choosing - I will only get more behind with 3 short weeks in May. Before I left, I stripped our bed and set the wm running. When I got home, I remade the bed, and washed and tamed my hair. DH has just gone out so in theory I have the evening to catch up on admin, although we have a broadband issue and atm can only get wifi in the kitchen…
I have a hm ready meal in the microwave, wouldn't be my first choice but every little freezer space helps.
Hmmm, today's positives, this is harder on a work day, but:
for having the option to go into work (Iknow, I know), hoping that will keep the stress at bay, but also give me time off another day
DH being at home so that he could hang out the bedding, now it smells fresh and of outdoor drying
for actually making myself do some flying before work, which means that I'm not trying to do it all this evening.6 -
All Tuesdailies completed. I even mopped the floors this week. So those two can be my first two positives. Third was a great exercise class.
Spend less now, work less later.6 -

also did a bit of strumming, weeding and watering. didn't manage to do housework as intended though,

For some reason Mr N and I spent a lot of time in the WAC which was annoying and I used it as a get-out clause for swimming which was even more annoying.
However, to-do list now has a lot of ticks.
- report finished, checked and emailed. Another one started.
- Paperwork made up for tomorrow's assessment.
- Various bits of email/admin done.
- Booked place at the village afternoon tea for Sunday.
- Greenhouse checked.
- One chocolate fudge cake made; one batch of oat cookies made. Judging by the comments from Bible group this evening, they were ok.
- Did flower thingy for front door.
- Did kitchen blitz as it was covered by snipped stems and cake ingredients. Lots of gibble put away, worktops not only cleared i.e. brushing bits on floor, but all surfaces wiped with anti germ spray then polished with granite cleaner. Floor swept.
- Lounge/diner shiny (mostly by Mr N) and we laid out chairs, cups, plates etc for the group.
- Drum practice done.
- Not sure what else I did.
Our house is ready for the coronation: hey I seem to have a new set of icons that does bullet points and makes photos smaller!
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Narco - there's been a notification about a new text editor above threads for a week or so. Not that i've read it.
Gorgeous day forecast so have emptied the laundry basket. 3 x WM 1 x DW
off to the paid stuff later.

Beautiful day out there, although I was stuck in an office. Could be worse - the office is in a field.
Beautiful flowers as always, Narc0.
No flying here, but …
saw 2 kites soaring above on my way to work
made myself get out to the allotment as soon as I got home from work, which was a good digging workout and on a lovely evening..
…and DH came too, which was a minor miracle, but also gave home a work out that he wasn’t expecting!6 -
Morning all
Cycled in to work at 7am yesterday and cycled home at 6pm, such is my life at the moment. My boss is winding me up and I am trying to rise above it. But today I am having a late start and finish so have had a lie in.
Have sorted DSs travel insurance, emptied DW and tidied around. Thinking about getting a supermarket delivery for tomorrow or Saturday morning, we have a big event at work for the Coronation so I will be working for a good part of the weekend.
Better move myself and get a shower in the hope that it might wake me up. I really should do some yoga.
Hope you all have a good Thursday, and for those doing a 4 day week, at least it's Friday tomorrow!!!6
