    Hello @LittleMissDetermined 😊👋
I’ve read through this thread (although not your previous one) and just wanted to delurk to say that I’m glad you had a lovely break 😊

Can I ask what PADing is? I am guessing that it’s something to do with regular savings, but what’s the philosophy behind that, the sealed envelope and I think, the pot?

Thank you for the ideas on other survey companies to try. I am set up and a regular with QMEE but never achieve more than £5 per week there. I have tried Prolific several times but they don’t want me - how very dare they! 😂 I am off now to try pinecone, yline and weare8 😊

Thanks for popping in!  PADding is the Payment A Day thread (here) where we make payments each day (some not every day) to either bills/debt or savings.

Good luck with the surveys, Pinecone and Y-Live are good. WeAre8 is pennies but it adds up and it also generates money to charity at the same time.

Waiting on my first surveys from PC - submitted my application yesterday 😊 Also applied to IpSos. I already had a weare8 account / app installed but don’t seem to be able to earn anything on it / get started - forgive me for asking but what am I missing?

Haven’t managed to track down YLive yet ….

Thanks for the PAD explanation and link. Not sure if I have the patience for it, but I will have a read and see what I can glean 😊

  • Good morning and happy sunny Monday! Hope everyone had a good weekend, this week is set to be lovely weather and it always puts me in a good mood.

This weekend has been pretty full for me, gym, housework, cooking, baking and gardening.  Saturday was a NSD but last night we went out with some of the neighbours so it was a (low-ish) spendy day. Today will be a NSD though as we have no plans.

I have been sending £3 (no longer £33's :D ) to the EF. I have been considering sending the remainder to get it to £1000 when I open my sealed pot. That's projected to be £261 so perfectly achievable. And then I can start to add funds to the Sabbatical fund which is excitingly empty at the moment. I could also just up the daily payment a bit too... will give that a bit of thought.

I have done a few surveys on Prolific already today, but nothing is available to cash out just yet so I will keep checking, there's £9+ in there at the moment.

    Have a lovely day!

When I open the app, if there are earning opportunities then there’s a yellow banner like this

When you click on it you watch a short video and answer a few questions.

Thanks for that. I don’t seem to get that banner. I will keep trying 😊

  • How odd? If there aren’t any available it’s grey and says to come back later.

I’ve finally cashed out on Prolific so £6.57 sent to the sealed pot challenge

Glad you had a good holiday LMD
Prolific is good for me at the moment. I’ve got a regular one now where you have to record yourself reading a passage and saying some words out loud for at least 5 seconds. A bit strange but it takes all sorts.

Some of them are odd on there, aren't they? You do wonder sometimes what they are actually researching. Some are boring, but I keep on and just think of the money at the end of it....lol
