Is they to cineworld? I thought they had closed. My local one has gone nowLittleMissDetermined said:Morning and a happy Monday everyone. The sunshine seems to have disappeared for the minute and I’m hoping the day brightens as we go.
Today will be a NSD for me. We are off to the cinema tonight but I have an annual pass so it doesn’t cost anything.
MY PAD this morning was £3 to the EF. Going to try and keep an eye on Prolific as I managed a few studies yesterday so would like to keep up the momentum.
Hope you all have a lovely day

enjoy your film!
I think they did close a few, but the main closures were in the US. Ours is a Cineworld, it only opened in September last year.Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £4055/£60001 -
Morning all! Hope you're all OK? I have a busy day at work today so a quick update before I start. Not much to update, it was a good day yesterday for Prolific, I have about £19 pending now which is nice

Today may be a NSD, I will have to report later as we may pop out to meet friends later this evening, my PAD was £3 to the EF as usual. I do keep forgetting to update my signature every day now that there's no debt on there so you'll have to forgive me for that
Have a good day

Managed to cash out £5.82 from Prolific so I have sent that to the sealed pot.

Hello, and happy Wednesday
It didn't end up being a NSD yesterday as we went out last night. It's definitely one today though and I should get a couple more this week. I have a lot on and not much spare funds this month due to commitments.
Today's PAD was made to various places but included £3 to the EF. I will pop and update my signature now. I have £17 pending on Prolific which I will be checking throughout the day, hopefully I can get a few more studies today.
Hope you're all well

Well, it's another early morning for me, I'm not sure what's happening today as I am still tired and it's not even that light yet as it's pretty overcast outside.
£4 sent to the EF today and it will be another NSD today, I have a bit of a spendy weekend ahead and I am on annual leave on Monday and Tuesday next week, plans with a friend and then the car's MOT - that EF may need to be used!
That's about it from me, I have already done a Prolific study which takes my pending balance to £20+ so it would be nice if some of that gets approved today.
Have great Thursdays

I got up and about same time as you! Going to be a long day, you’re doing really good with the EF! hope it’s in an instant saving account, some are paying nearly 4% now for instant access!1

At the moment it’s just in a Monzo pot so not gaining interestLife gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £4055/£60001 -
Long timer lurker here - delurking to say that Monzo have a new instant access savings pot which currently pays 3.4%. You can only have one and you can find it under - create a pot - savings - instant access.
Congrats on being debt free. 🥳2 -
Thanks @lashie I do have my sealed pot virtual funds in a Monzo saver pot but when took the funds out last year it wasn't 'instant' so I would be reluctant to hold the EF money in one, especially if I needed it on a Friday or over the weekend. So it all depends on how 'instantly' I can get the money...
I managed to sleep in today until 7am which was nice, the dog still isn't up yet and I can hear him snoring on the bed in the spare room
Today will be a NSD for me again and my PAD was £44.33 to savings; £3 standard payment to the EF, £31 cash into a sealed envelope for this week and £10.33 payment from Prolific into the sealed pot. All good stuff, I also still have £12 pending in Prolific and I'm not 100% sure but I think there's a £4 bonus payment to be added to one of them too.... we will see.
I hope everyone has a lovely day

Mine is definitely instant as I have withdrawn from it twice since I opened it in March and the money transferred straight across to my main Monzo balance in the blink of an eye. 🙂 Maybe you could test it with a few pounds and see how it goes.1
