  • Morning lovelies, the sunshine is missing this morning but it's still warm and pleasant. We are off out shortly to meet friends for Sunday lunch and a few drinks.  I've switched it up this morning and I'm having a lovely cup of earl grey whilst I update my tracker.

I PADded £3 to the EF this morning but I have just been able to cash £5 from Prolific so that will be added to the sealed pot too. That's the last of the Prolific funds so I need to keep an eye out for more surveys this week although it's probably that time of year when it slows as has already been mentioned.

Today's not a NSD due to us going out but I should be able to get another one in for May before Thursday.  I have a quiet week planned :)

Not been as 'on it' for the healthy eating this week - had a brownie yesterday :( but will make a more concentrated effort next moving forwards.

    That's all from me

  • Quick update from me, it’s not a NSD but it will be low spend. I just need a few bits from the shops and some fuel for the car.

Todays PAD was £5 to the EF, it’s still building nicely and I don’t miss the small daily amounts really.

Hope you’re all having a nice bank holiday

We’ve been blessed with good weather down West LMD.
Wonder if your town is noticeably a bit quieter with everyone gone to Wembley?

It was very quiet in town yesterday when we went for drinks. I did wonder if people were saving for Wembley or maybe there have been too many spendy bank holiday weekends already in May haha.

It’s sunny again today so I’m happy 😃 fingers crossed for the win this afternoon.

  • Good morning everyone, I'm not going to talk about football today...or the blatant penalty that wasn't awarded...or the red card that should have been a yellow.  It is what it is.

Today's a NSD for me. That's number 20 for the month and I have reached my target.  I've been working since before 6am and the dog has already been walked as I was awake at just gone 4am. No plans today other than work and maybe a bit of reading this evening. Hubby is working nights.

My PAD was £3 to the EF this morning, now I need to go and update the signature.
    Have a lovely Tuesday :)

    They were so unlucky LMD.
No trip up for me next season then. Found memories of my last trip still give me a little chuckle to myself. Top of the hill I think it’s a leisure centre. There was a kid’s entertainer dressed as a pirate. He was doing a half decent pirate accent and could have passed for someone from my part of the world, except he kept slipping back into his local accent. Maybe you had to be there but I found it funny 😄
Also my young daughter was so excited to see what the abandoned building was outside the ground that she’d found on Google earth. It was an old school but there was nothing left of it as the Google image was out of date.
Up since 4am?? Ouch. I find that’s one of the downsides of the summer months as it’s a lot easier to wake up early when it’s much lighter.
Very well done with your NSD target

It's quite good at the leisure centre, they usually have something going on or another.  There's an old building not far from the ground that I walk the dog near sometime. Monk Bretton Priory, its mainly ruins but it's a nice piece of history.

Early mornings aren't so bad in the summer, I find I have more energy when I wake up naturally and feel far more refreshed.

haha the last time i went to Barnsley game - the metrodome were doing 4 pints for a £10 and they were sold out of beer within the hour! haha. Barnsley were very very unlucky yesterday. There are plenty of lovely places to walk near the ground as well.
