If that's a quote from the ancient bargepole thread, then the questions & answers are not fully up to date, so don't forget to read the rest of the info and links that I provide in the second post of the NEWBIES thread about the tedious 'new' questions in the DQ.

All questions are covered except for the obvious ones (such as the new Mediation section E) which I will not write a template for!

Surely the only prep needed is to practice saying you are offering no payment at all. End of mediation.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    UPDATE.       :Mediation phone call:
    She said...
"If I lose the court hearing it flag up on my financial history about me not paying 6 years"
    She said...
"they want you to pay £270 can you make an offer" I did £10. She came back with after speaking to her client "they have lowered the payment to £130"
    She said
"you will need proper evidence to show in court as would you did was illegal as the signs clearly showed"

    They should be impartial

At the most offer £20 and no more, or £10, or £zero and let a court decide,  if it gets that far

Did the Mediator actually say "illegal"?

    Right:

    1.  COMPLAIN IMMEDIATELY to the Mediation Service and quote what she said. She lied about the risk: no CCJ affects you at all if you lose at a hearing unless you refuse to pay!

    2.   And ... just 24 hours left:

Have you done this Enquiry yet?

Please please do, it is easy to submit answers online, took me minutes but I had pre-prepared a document of evidence to attach:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6481628/justice-committee-inquiry-into-the-county-court/p4

    PLEASE tell
the full story of this saga to the CJC by tomorrow.

You can only attach a Word document to submit evidence but you can put images on a Doc.

Tell them that the Mediation Service lady lied to you and was scaremongering in a case where there's no possibility of a CCJ (because you'd pay, if a Judge told you to) but she said... blah blah...

Enquiry closes tomorrow, so this is urgent.

This WILL make a difference. Please respond.
