    Morning,
I'm off to do the walk of shame - does anyone want to do a sweepstake on how many lbs over target I am? #dreadingit

Morning all, back from holiday and back on plan from today (as far as possible as still have some stuff to use up which will need to be synned!).

    Plan for today:

    B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans - P; S; F
L - couscous, ham, salad; cheese - HEA2; P; S; 3 (estimated for oil as it is premade box of couscous)
    D - Fakeaway KFC - P; S; F; 4

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
Syns - oil in couscous 3; dried potato mix 4

I jumped on the scales this morning and not as bad as I thought - still out of target but by less than 3lb so not bad considering I haven't been on plan for most of the last 3 months - particularly the 2 weeks in Gambia and the 4 weeks in France!  With a bit of luck I'll be back in target in a couple of weeks and will go back to group.  Had a look online and it looks like the max I'll have to pay is 2 weeks back pay plus the current week - but whether that applies if I'm actually in target I don't know.  Will have to wait and see!

Have done 2 loads of washing and have it out on the line, 3rd load is in and once I've got that out then I'll be off to do a bit of shopping and pick up my new glasses - I should have had them before we went to France but the stupid girl ordered normal reading glasses but without the computer part which I need as well!  My distance glasses are good but have had to use my old varifocals while we've been away for reading and the laptop.  I can see it being a real pain having to keep changing glasses but the optician said there is far too much difference between my reading needs and distance needs now because my cataracts have got really bad in the last year.  I need to phone and make an appointment next week (I've got Benenden cover so hopefully shouldn't be too long to see someone).

For the referral to the NHS all I've had so far is a letter to say I have been added to the waiting list and they will be in contact at some time in the future with an appointment!  My friend who had her cataracts done on the NHS waited 14 months - no way I want to wait that long!

    Have a good day everyone

I got a fright this morning at WI - even with being off plan a couple of days I didn’t expect two on 😥😳Wished I’d known I’d bloody well would have enjoyed it!

Hope you got on OK @Coxy11 and Bubbs , can’t remember if you’re still on holiday or not.

You’ve had some smashing holidays @joedenise and to even be within target is great. You’ll get it off in no time, you know the plan inside out.

Had banana and coffee in group, ham salad roll and nectarine after shopping and dinner tonight is the cooked chicken I picked up in Morrisons with a huge salad. Couple of gins will be syned 😁

    Evening all D

1lb off for me , yipppeeeeeeeeee , only 1/2 lb out of target now

Been to see Dad, he looked really tired, Mum said did you sleep last night or got to a disco 🤣 he said seriously i slept 😂 ordered him some fidget toys while we was there, he had them in the hospital but they have not given them to him here and he kept playing with the emergency cord and wrapping it round his hand in the week, so now that has been removed. But now it's the light switch 🤣🤣that can't be removed (obviously ) we asked him why and he said it's a habit .

Denise, see i told you it would not be too bad!

Jelly sorry about your gain 😥

    Coxy i'll say 2 lb

Commiserations @Jellybaby - I'm sure you'll soon shift that 2lb!  I'm not in target range but almost 3lb over it so need to lose 3lb just to get into range.  Going to really try and shift it over the next 2 weeks and then go back to group - just hope I'm back in target by then!

Well done on the lb loss @bubbs.  I find my eggs are often very pale like that, just occasionally get some really nice dark yolks and they always seem to taste much better.

Had another couple of syns with dinner as had a little bit of butter on my corn on the cob rather than just black pepper which is what I usually have.
