Welcome back @joedenise - you’re going to need another holiday with all that rushing around today 🤣

    Well done @bubbs 😊
    Commiserations @Jellybaby ☹️

Well the scores on the doors:
I am 3.5lb over target. Didn’t have to pay but obviously will next week if I don’t shift those lbs (doubt I will). App still not available so I’ve emailed SW customer services.

Have decided to do 3 SP days this week. I’ve been through all my books and mags to plan breakfast lunch and dinner on those 3 days especially. Have meal planned for dinners for the whole week as usual, but just needed more structure for those days.  Will be shopping tomorrow.

It was good to be back in group today - our consultant is really fun.

That's good news @Coxy11 that you didn't have to pay - will have to see what happens when I go back because of the length of time I've been away!  Hopefully I'll be nearer target range in a couple of weeks so will still get the grace week if I'm not quite there and will be in the same position as you!  We'll see.

Definitely can't go this week as for some reason I'd arranged a waxing appointment for this Wednesday - usually make the appointments for Tuesday morning!  Good job I phoned to check when it was as I'd have felt a fool turning up Tuesday!  My usual lady won't be doing it as she's in hospital and sounds like she won't be working for a while so hope the lady that's doing it this week is as good.

Did 3 or 4 loads of washing yesterday and got it all dried.  Going to do the same again today which will hopefully clear all the clothes and just leave 2 loads of bedding from the motorhome, plus a light duvet (a bottle of squash leaked on it when we were travelling one day as lid wasn't on tight enough!). Good job we keep a spare in there!

Still haven't properly menu planned but at least I've sorted out meals for a few days.  Really need to go through the freezer to see what's left in there and do a menu plan so that I can go shopping on Tuesday.  I know I need some stuff from The Food Warehouse so might just as well go Tuesday for the 10% off day for us oldies!

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon and mushroom sandwich - HEB; P; S; 3.5
    L - Similar to yesterday - taboule, ham, cheese, salad - HEA2; P; S; F; 3
D - roast lamb, roast potatoes, carrots, onions, pepper, broccoli, green beans - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - oil in taboule 3; butter 3.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, got up for the loo at 5am and couldn’t get back to sleep so got up and done two loads of washing, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen and after breakfast will attack the car which is needing a really good clean. Need to do this more often 🤣

    Today’s food:
B - bran flakes (HEB), yoghurt 0.5 syns, strawberries and raspberries
L - chicken salad with pickles
D - gammon steaks, Jersey Royals, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes

Meeting a friend for coffee later but will just have an Americano, and no cake as I’m too stingy to pay a particular coffee chains prices 😂

    Have a smashing day all.
  • Hi all,

Not checked in for awhile (again) stayed the same again this week, which I'm happy with. Had a few blips, nothing major but know I'm doing enough to maintain to counteract any slips.

This coming Thursday will be my last weigh in as I can't justify £5 a week just to weigh. Will still follow the plan and weigh weekly to make sure I don't slip back into old habits.

I'm not expecting much for this week, had a birthday, so ate off plan yesterday, out today shopping with DD, but made a casserole to come home to, so only need something light out later.
DD is also taking me out for tea and cake at a lovely local cafe this week. Next weekend is our anniversary so we are visiting an art installation thing, followed by a nice meal - not 100% sure where yet but leaning towards Thai. I'm also booking a couple of private dance lessons for our anniversary after racking my brains of what gift him so at least some body magic coming up.

Running has taken a bit of a rest as I seem to have aggravated a muscle in my thigh, but need to build this back up. Still playing cricket and really enjoying this.

Hope you all have a good day

    Hi all,
    Great news @bubbs
Better luck for next WI @Jellybaby and @C@Coxy11.

My scales showed a loss this morning, but I have had a couple of heavy Syns days so it will probably catch me out at WI Tuesday evening. I am going to raid the freezer and stores for ingredients for a batch of soup tomorrow, that may help a little.

@bubbs - @maman is back later this week - think she said she's back the 6th which is Thursday.  Wonder how much she's put on whilst away!

Really enjoyed our roast dinner today as it's the first proper roast we've had for quite while - can't do one in the motorhome as the oven isn't very reliable so have to make do with doing things like chops or chicken pieces with very small pieces of potato cooked in the oven - they're OK but definitely not roasties!
