Morning all.
Agree you definitely have more willpower than me @SingleSue - hope the scales are kind to you this week with all your determination!
Keeping fingers crossed for your SiL @Coxy11 and hope there isn't too much fallout from you stepping in and calling the therapist. I would have done the same thing.
Hope the antibiotics start to work for your dad @bubbs and he can be in his placement soon. Hugs to you and your mum.
Hope your work isn't too stressful @Jellybaby and your parents stop causing you so much stress soon.
Dad's having an MRI today and I'm hoping he'll be out by Friday but not too sure at the rate things are going. But have managed to help my mum make some progress on decluttering the house so it's not all bad. Had a vegetable curry for dinner last night (best of the options available at the hospital). Bacon and tomato sandwich for breakfast this morning, lunch is a tuna salad and dinner is gamon steak, SW chips and lots of mixed veg.
Hope everyone has a good day.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
3.5lbs loss which means total loss is now 4 stone 2lbs. Middle son managed a 6.5lbs loss and is now only 2lbs away from five and a half stone. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.1 -

Evening all, where has the day gone? Needed to pop out to get some meat for our pasties to eat on the ferry on Friday but also ended up buying some gala pie - so looks like I'm in holiday mode already! Reckon that was way over syns without the cream cakes which have passed my lips!!!!
Well done @SingleSue and middle son your your losses and certificates. You are both doing so well and @beanielou is right you should be very proud of yourselves.
Glad the therapist got back to you @Coxy11 and like you hope your SIL attends the appointment and gets the help she so obviously needs.
Hope your dad's MRI went OK today and that he's hopefully out of hospital by Friday.
Do hope the antibiotics are working for your dad @bubbs and that he's not still rolling around in agony. It's so hard for you all to be coping with.
Breakfast was on plan with a BGTY sausage sandwich and dinner will also be on plan - liver, bacon, onions and mash. Looking forward to that as not had it for a while.
Probably won't be posting much whilst on holiday but will be reading! Don't think you want to know how often I'm eating French bread, croissants, pain chocolat etc etc!!!

Well done @SingleSue👏👏👏. Good to know your home scales weren't lying! 🤣
2lbs is good after a holiday @maddiemay. You'll soon fix that I'm sure.
Sending a big hug to all those struggling with caring in one way or another. 🤗 It's hard enough trying to lose weight without all the stress and worry. Be kind to yourselves.
That was an excellent buy for the refuge @bubbs, so not a wasted journey to the Company Shop. 👍
Have a good holiday @joedenise. Do post when you can. I'd like to hear about the cheeses! 😋

Hello,
I've joined online SW today and need somewhere to be accountable, mind if I join?
I'm trying to learn all the acronyms and rules so will read over this thread to start with.
I'm vegan so an added challenge.
Not told anyone in real life that I'm doing this but I feel very heavy and uncomfortable so need to do something.
Looking forward to chatting with you all 😊Unsecured debts total -
May 2023 - £30355.65 🤢
June 2023 - £29161.76

Welcome @canvascamper, good to have you along. 😊
Just ask if you want to know anything about the acronyms or anything else.
It shouldn't be too much of a problem being vegan on SW (Slimming World 😁) as it's basically meals of protein, veg and carbs with healthy extras which can include plant milks and cheeses and bread and cereals then syns which are treats of your choice.
Good luck. It won't be a secret for long because friends and family will start to notice your weight loss and you can tell them it's just from healthy eating! 🤣0 -
